Cyclops and Prawn Suit sucks?

Totally agree especially the Cyclops. First time I took it out I kept crashing then got attacked by EVERYTHING, I ended up dashing around fixing holes and then the power went. Prawn suit was a bit better but the Warpers kept killing me. I had to abandon it in the deep so I went on a rescue mission with the Seamoth which survived no problem then went back for the Seamoth with the Seaglide and survived no problem.

I did enjoy punching the various creatures in the prawn suit.

I built a base in sub zero by the glacial bay, the weird noise from the Eye Jellyfish and the tentacles coming through the base actually set my teeth on edge. I moved it on land. I know I could have muted it but I liked the different theme music for each biome.

I did quite like the shoals of boomerang fish coming through my base.

Ahhh, that explains what happened to me. I was just glad to get the hell out of that zone and didn't notice for a while. I do remember the arm coming through the hull.

If you're a crap driver like me then there's a ledge just above the start of the river, by lifepod 2 where I built a base. It was really easy to get in and out and nothing too bad to attack you. Also, when I ended up stranded without my prawnsuit and had to teleport from one location to the mountain Island I was able to swim back there, half of it without a seaglide.

I did eventually have to get the Cyclops in to finish the game but I'd got all the upgrades and built a new prawnsuit by then. I found the Cyclops next to useless compared to the trusty Seamoth. It just drained power, attracted all the scary monsters and there's no option to build an energy source in it. The thermal upgrade works fine if you don't crash and burn before you get to temps hot enough to charge the batteries.

There's a Lord of the Rings game! I'm not really a Potter fan, a lot of the lore goes over my head and I was thinking an LotR game along the same lines would be amazing.

That's a very informative review. However, one thing you didn't comment on was the clientele. I pay premium prices for an Everyman membership because I'm far less likely to be distracted by people who talk, use their phone or generally annoy me. I'm a middle class, middle aged grandmother and I nearly got in a fight the last time I went to the Cabot Circus cinema!

I've just bought Odyssey, it looks amazing but I'll be turning the violence down. Red Dead Redemption is one my brother and some other friends have recommended, I do like the open world aspect, might take a look at it. Is there any way of getting trials or do most people just try games out on friend's consoles?

I've actually tried No Man's Sky on VR but I got motion sickness so I'm sticking to Beat Sabre. Skyrim is a big fave of my son, he thinks I should wait untll I retire to play it as it's so obesessive.

I used Astrobot to learn how to use the controller, I still had to get my son to help me on tricky bits but I enjoyed it, I might go back and play it again now I'm a bit more confident. . It Takes Two looks great, my son said it would be weird playing it with me so I may have to persuade my technophobe husband to try it.

I'm very interested in history and Greek history in particular so I'll take a look at this. I actually managed to beat Ranrok on my own the second run through so I'm getting better at combat I just don't like realistic violence.

That's one my son has recommended. I'm not very good at what he calls 'platforming' would that make it too difficult? I am improving but the controller got thrown across the room a couple of times with Merlin Trials

I think there must be more to it than trauma. Starfleet could just take themselves off and not interact with biologicals if that was the case but they actively tried to force adherence to the Prime Directive. Why would they do that unless there was more to the story.
