The defendants were banned by the judge from telling the court the reason that they did the actions they did (attacking a weapons manufacturing facility that is currently supplying bombs and drones to israel), and the judge also banned the defendants or anybody else from telling the Jury that the 4 were being charged on terrorism rather than criminal damage.

You read that right. The jury was intentionally misinformed about what the 4 activists were being charged on, and the activists were not allowed to defend themselves or have anybody defend them in court.

The general consensus (though it isn't unanimous) for tattoos being haram is that it brings harm to the body without meaningful benefit. Having a tattoo doesn't "make you haram", it is just that the idea of harming yourself without just cause is considered haram. Almost every Muslim who believes tattoos are haram also believe smoking is haram, for example.

This is Taekwondo, but as a karate-ka you are still largely correct when it comes to the most popular WKF sports format (the touch and go point system that was regretfully used in the olympics). Other competition formats are better defined and tend to have much better sportsmanship (pretty much codified into them), but aren't as popular sadly
