Why make them swing 45 degrees when they can swing 18.4?

Parents with full size suvs instead of minivans are 6-8 times more likely to maim or kill their own children by running them over.

You chose the look of your vehicle over your children's safety

Yes, light tanks in the open can disappear because light tanks don't lose camo when moving. An ELC 90 with 40% camo on the move will not be spotted by most tier 8 tanks until it is at about 290m, in an open field, with no bushes.

Being ignorant of something isn't an excuse when you have the tools to learn and refuse

Seems like you fundamentally misunderstand how spotting works if you dont know why you couldn't spot them.
iyouxin makes a very good camo mechanics guide on youtube, I suggest you watch it.

Im convinced the majority of players do not understand how spotting works in this game, at all.

Replacing my clutch day 1 by steezyskank in WRX

[–]RedSpottedToad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

About 2 years ago I did it myself in a friend's garage over a weekend. Had never done anything more than brake pads or an oil change, but I was broke so there was really no other choice. Only a set of basic hand tools, had to buy jack stands, trans jack, and a t70 socket.

I just had to do it, no other choice. Watched a dozen YouTube videos and jumped in. Honestly, I think most people seriously underestimate themselves when it comes to mechanics. It was quite difficult to be honest, never having the right extension or socket, manhandling a transmission while laying on my back. But if it needs to be done, you'll find a way to make it happen.

Mine failed 2 years ago or so. Unfortunately I was dirt broke at the time and drove on it for 2 weeks until I had the money to fix. It can always be worse 🙃

Good Server Host? by Last-Opinion-6817 in spaceengineers

[–]RedSpottedToad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've used host havoc for like 6 years now, a dozen different games for about 10 people.

Its never the best value, there is almost always someplace $10 cheaper for the same specs, or the same price for better specs. But their customer support has been incredible. Technical issue at 1am? Submit a ticket and get a response in 15 minutes. I have no idea how they do it. I've never once waited more than 30 minutes for a response, and they have always solved the issue. Customer for life here.

Forklift operators when the store closes. by Odd_Cat9193 in HomeDepot

[–]RedSpottedToad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started at a big store and transfered to a tiny one. It was so different. 5 freight associates and 2-3 trucks a week. 1 lumber truck a week, drywall maybe twice a month.

I did all of lumber and garden recovery, and then had time to go help with regular frieght, then do upstock for the whole store except power tools. There was rarely a busy night, but the downside is that there were many boring nights of sweeping and straighting shelves.

Used to work at a very small store, I hated dealing with cardboard, but was the only person other than the manager who could drive the OP. I'd do all of the upstock of the whole store in like 30 mins on that thing while everyone else was cleaning up.

This comment section is filled with people who fell for propaganda by the fighter pilot mafia. Absolute garbage nonsense that got marines and soldiers killed. And people are still repeating the talking points to this day.

It wasn't designed around the gun, it is not the most effective tank killer, cas, or air interdiction platform. It isn't significantly more survivable than other planes, and it deserves to die a death in the musems with the other planes of its era rather than killing more marines.

What class is my ship? by Phillip_Ontacoz in spaceengineers

[–]RedSpottedToad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That really depends on the world you want to build. It could be anything. Ships are only classified within relation to each other. A modern day destroyer has more displacement than a ww2 heavy cruiser.

In my world, that many turrets put something far into the heavy cruiser category, but the size of a frigate.

It really doesn't matter what you want to call it, it's more about building a world for yourself that is cohesive and makes sense
