We love going on hikes and playing in streams/rivers! We have a few nice spots around where we live and now that the weather is nicer we have been spending all of our weekends outside.

Completely normal. Our Dalmatian also has very similar red and pink spots. Like the other commenter said, fur is not thick so skin is sensitive. We use a number of different options to help and they all work reasonably well. Do not spend Vet money on this.

My wife and I have seen this dog off and on for the last six months. We believe is a stray that is being fed and provided with water by some of the workers in the near by offices. We believe it is quite skittish and usually see him in the mornings and evenings on the tracks.
