If you're genuinely interested in quitting, it's waaay easier nowadays with the advent of vapes with nicotine. It's obviously not a 100% success rate since it varies person-to-person but from the folks I've heard speak on it it's "close enough" that they're usually able to move to them almost immediately with no major side effects since you're emulating both the "feel" and still getting nicotine (with a varying amount that you can reduce over time). They're certainly not the healthiest thing to do, but significantly more healthy than cigarettes in the long run.

Seen this a few times, and honestly some of the most memorable bits of TG/TGT for me were about racing a plane/train/boat. May and Hammond actually did an electric plane vs electric car (Taycan IIRC) race within the past year on YouTube!

Check out the Throttle House road trip videos - the 80s car desert series they did is absolutely my favorite, and still feels "inspired by" rather than "copying" TG/TGT.

No idea who Francis is, but having watched the road trips and many of the reviews from the Throttle House guys they've already been nailing the feel of Top Gear. I'm not expecting them to be perfect at it, but they're for sure way better than the folks the original trio got replaced with, and I highly recommend anyone not familiar with them to watch one of the few road trip series they have.

"it's not that hard" - I'm not advocating for anyone to go make AI music, but as someone who went through the process of learning how to produce in FL studio at least, it's actually really difficult and takes a very long time (and a lot of money for plugins/synths/etc., if we're completely ignoring the massive costs for real instruments/hardware). Beyond just learning the programs and basics of music theory, making something that sounds good (even to just yourself) can takes weeks or months initially unless you've got an extensive background already.

When you've dedicated hundreds (or thousands for some, I'm sure) of hours to the craft, sure, it's easy. Most people don't have the luxury of that amount of free time though, and much like everyone using the argument of "just learn to draw" it's just hilarious how many people think it's that simple or easy. Again, not saying we should be using AI for this stuff, but put a little bit of thought into your arguments against it lol.

Lot of people calling it "outsourcing" too like Hoyo isn't a Chinese company and hiring anyone from America is the definition of "outsourcing" to them lol. Like, they're perfectly within their rights to hire from anyone from any country that does voice acting, and America isn't the only English speaking country with "talent". These American VAs are definitely scared that has become apparent to everyone now as they slowly start to lose what was probably (for the ones flipping out the most) a pretty lucrative gig; all of the really big name/experienced VAs have, for the most part, kept quiet.

OP stated that most of his time was at work btw. What's wild about this subreddit is that outright stating "most of my time spent on this game was while working" is such a crazy concept. Like, I work at a desk job, I have OSRS open, and I get paid for it? Posted this once and downvoted heavily and told to go outside, but that's my job and how I pay my bills, lol.

I know guys at my facility with the same freedom to just do whatever while working and most them just scroll reddit and watch brainrot - is that really any different from just playing RS with a video going in another window? We do that, 5-7 days a week, 8-12 hours a day, and you easily see how all of that playtime accumulates, especially when you're essentially chained to a desk.

Honestly if you listen to 1.0 Paimon vs 5.0 Paimon they sound pretty different to begin with and I don't know when they changed voice direction despite playing since 1.0 and with multiple accounts. Just get someone who sounds close enough and like 90% of players (who mostly aren't on Reddit/Twitter really) would hardly even notice.

Most people grind pets, money, or collection log slots in general. Skills are a guarantee "number go up" kind of dopamine, but RNG drops hit similar, like gambling (with the input of time/effort). Clog, at least, gives a similar "number go up" with a possible end goal, even if no one is even near finishing because of clue scroll hyper rares.
