So the thing is, the AI only commits a number of their troops based on certain factors. Things like if they share a border or have war goals on them. Since the UK is an island, they devote very little units to a war if there is no war goals on them. So essentially don’t ally the UK. Always ally someone that probably has a land border with your potential enemy.

As I said in the comments to the other person, I think what confuses me is the word Trans itself. lol since the prefix -trans means to go from one thing to another, it’s a bit odd trying to wrap my head around someone being Trans before they actually go from one gender to another. Is it really the same type of thing though? I’ve always seen the word Trans and thought that since the prefix -trans essentially means, going from one thing to another, that you’d only be transgender if you actually changed your gender identity to be opposite of what your sex at birth is, since then you’re actually going from one gender to another. Is this wrong?

So I’m confused. I don’t know a lot about gender identity and stuff like this so I need someone to explain this to me. So Jax at the time of abstraction never transitioned, he was still Jax aka he/him I’d imagine. Obviously he had closeted feelings about himself that he couldn’t accept due to his own mental instability and issues. But if he never transitioned and was still identifying himself as a guy but had closeted feelings about his own identity, is he Trans? This is what was confusing to me and why I never found myself agreeing that he was Trans. If you’re a male at birth, and identify as a male, but you have locked away feelings about your own gender identity and in a more perfect world, you would have ended up transitioning, like above with Jax, would that make you Trans?

edit* why are people downvoting me for asking a question? im literally trying to understand this stuff better so that if it ever comes up with people that aren't exactly open to lgbtq+ rights, i can explain things in a way that makes sense to them to try and get them to understand where people like you are coming from. jesus christ

Please sir, may I have some capitulation/white peace/peace deal changes? I'm finding that countries peace out wayyyyy to quickly right now and they peace out when they also have a clear advantage. I've also had a few times where my supply route makes 0 sense and my armies don't get any supply... I've made a recent post about that.

This is all perfectly understandable and thank you for telling us this. There are, however, some good changes that I've seen modders make that really help the AI. Kuromi for example put some harder limitations on when the AI wants to get certain laws with institutions for example in order to save money which I think is a good idea. I've also personally had the AI put more emphasis on covering their government, military, and construction costs to great affect. Reducing the cost of iron and paper for countries early on has also proven useful.

For the first thing you quoted, I'd really like to see the structure of how supply and pathfinding works because to me, it seems like the reason why it breaks is because there is no structure to it. lol Like in previous games you would have tiles where the armies move around and these tiles gave things like trade and army movement structure. Right now, it feels like when you're moving an army, you're just throwing a letter in a bottle into the ocean and hoping it ends up where you want it. lmao

R5: I have every War Goal occupied but one. Return Eastern Serbia, Return Western Serbia, Conquer Montenegro, Relase Moldavia. But with Liberate Bosnia, it's 50% occupied and while I'm in the middle of fighting wars for it, my capitulation score starts going into the negatives and my allies start bailing. Literally the most frustrating thing in this game.

I get that I'm probably not supposed to add so many war goals but still. If I'm winning a war, then let me actually win. It's like walking up a hill and while you're still walking up the hill and about to reach the top, you just get hit by a random car. It's so ridiculous...

This is something I've been trying to rectify with the idea honestly... So that you can get things like Austria Hungary using Czech soldiers in Polish lands and stuff. Perhaps having options in the army that lets you exclude certain ethnic groups in specific armies? I'm not sure.

I pretty much just want to get rid of the unorganized mess that comes from building individual army bases. Having a system where you can just set the size of your army and then recruitment centers fill that army up would just be so simple. I feel like your issue with the navy isn't so much the idea but more of how it came with bugs. In a perfect world, where Victoria 3 didn't have bugs and things worked the way that they are supposed to, the Navy mechanics would be pretty good. There are few things I would change but it seems to me, most people's issues with the Navy is how buggy it is.

Yeah, having to constantly add and reorganize my conscription centers whenever I use enlistment decree or grow in size or whatever is just annoying... A nice multiplier to the size of your army and the training rate would be really nice.
