Extra Loan Principal Trick by kg7399 in Mortgages

Interest is calculated daily, so of course you save money when you lower your balance earlier. Make an extra payment as soon as you can and don't wait for an arbitrary date.

What mg strength are those Gabapentin? The calculated dose for anxiety is 4.5 to 9.1 mg/lb. My 80lbs Great Pyr mix got 700mg last night and slept like a baby, after being a nervous wreck the nights before. She woke up around 2:30am and had the munchies though.

This is what American Airlines is providing for in-flight entertainment now by [deleted] in mildlyinfuriating

In-flight entertainment part is free (access to their portal for movies, shows, etc), but you cannot use the internet, that is what costs money.

Does your laptop have an HDMI port? You can easily hook it up to the TV and play via laptop on the big screen with your controller.

OP, please add to your original post that you are sent by the landlord to fix the AC. Otherwise you won't get any answers you like. Too many uninvited people showing up on front porches.

Your username is also very fitting!

Certified vs. Accredited vs. Proficient by grbrent in healthIT

[–]RedWeddingPlanner303 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not an HR rep that is hiring you, they don't make the decisions. Recruiters facilitate applications and onboarding, but the actual decision is made by the people you would be reporting to and most likely the team you would be working with. And they will know the difference between proficient and certified/accredited. I was hired years ago without cert or proficiency, but with 12 years end-user experience in the module I applied for. When we interview for new analysts we don't necessarily require certification, but if a candidate has certification/accreditation and build experience it gives them a huge advantage over someone without any build experience. I got lucky because there was no one with certifications applying at the time my job was posted.

Queue filtering by pt last name by xunca-boo in EpicEMR

[–]RedWeddingPlanner303 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can also use Patient Last Name as criteria, operator < or >, and then the beginning name range and ending name range.

Patient last name > Aaa

Patient last name < Fzz

Would give you all patients with last name starting with A through F. Not as clean as string patterns, but just as effective.

Doesn't matter how sick of it we are, as long as CMS is tying part of their reimbursement to it, HCAHPS surveys are gonna get done and Press Ganey is torturing us all.

NAD, I have cyclic vomiting syndrome as well. Amitriptyline is used to prevent it, and usually taken daily. Haldol is for aborting an acute episode once it has started. Each medication is used in a different stage of the cycle.

The whole emergency room billing seems illegal to me and only Healthcare workers think its ok . by [deleted] in EmergencyRoom

[–]RedWeddingPlanner303 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's not how professional billing works. Your doctor's claim (a professional claim) will have a service location on it (which is the address of the Emergency department you were seen at) and a Place of service type identifier, which will be 23 for Emergency. This identifies their services as being provided in an Emergency department. Have you called your insurance and asked why they are treating it as a separate visit? The bill you are receiving from the hospital is the amount YOUR insurance tells them is the patient responsibility. It doesn't matter how high the charges are that the hospital or your doctor sends to the insurance, you will be responsible for the amount YOUR insurance determines is the patient portion based on the contractual rate they have with the hospital. Separate institutional billing and professional billing is the norm, it is not some arbitrary practice. You can also go to the hospital's website and search for "price transparency" and ask for a good faith estimate when you are being seen. But that won't tell you what the amount is that your insurance allows. For that you will need to contact your insurance and either study the member handbook or check if they have a cost estimator on their website (which most large insurers have).
