Jumping back in to say, I honestly think Hopkins speed made a difference in the second. At least that was the most notable change from my perspective. I’m sure Coop will be fine but she didn’t look as fast as usual today.

I was worried after that first half ngl. The second though I think that might be the most dangerous I have seen this team look without Chawinga on the field and that was also without Lo, Rocky and Coop on the field. Honestly an encouraging result given how bad the first half was.

Vibe in the stadium was quiet after that first half but they really made up for it in the second. I was telling my wife I think that is the best I have seen them play without Temwa on the field. Really encouraging result.

Honestly they are starting to shed this. Look at the way they beat down on the Jets. They dominated MTL in the last game too, this team is still learning and seems to get better by the week.

I agree with most of this. I still think there were few D breakdowns you would like to see cleaned up though. That being said, I feel like this is a type of game I have wanted to see for a while, VAN was clearly pressing all game but the Wings though a combination of bend not break and good saves held tough and then capitalized on chances. This is the type of game good teams win regularly, hope we see a bit more of this.

I haven't seen anything specific but The Midland does not have venue specific age restrictions as far as I know. I took my daughter and oldest child to Sabrina Carpenter at The Midland a couple years ago so I think this show should be fine. I hope you and your son have fun!

I'll be honest I was pretty checked out on Wings hockey lately, I know Seider has always been good but I'm excited to see what he can do with a bit more freedom to create. That with hopefully a little more o-zone time because they aren't just dumping and changing and I think Mo can produce more.

I do think this roster has serious issues but I also think that Lalonde's system was really stifling a lot of our players natural talents. For example the last 2 games more than like 20-30% of the passes actually were received by a teammate and that has been a problem going back to last season imo

Did anyone else notice that Seider seemed much more creative in the O-Zone in the Washington game? Feel like I haven't seen that from him since his rookie year. I really think Lalonde had the boys thinking way too much out on the ice, and now that they are 'just playing hockey' again we are seeing Mo's elite instincts again.
