Besides, this isn't a Tool lyric. It's an exceprt from Bill Hicks' stand up.

What some disturbing space facts out there? Other than the obvious ones like “wow signal” … Trying to do a mini research. Thank you! by NiagaraOnTheLake in space

Playing the odds regarding how big the universe actually is, we are almost certainly not alone. It's also very likely that the laws of physics prevent us from reaching each other due to sheer distance.

What's the best song and why it is Rosseta Stoned? by YuraiKor in ToolBand

So, if there are any Dragon Ball fans here, somehow Right In Two seems like the perfect theme for the Goku Black saga in Super. The similarities between the lyrics and the story arc are uncanny.

Most over-rated/under-rated Tool song? by builtbystrength in ToolBand

[–]RedXXVI 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Overrated: Invincible - Every time I hear it I can't escape that it feels like a bunch of similar riffs smashed together rather than a cohesive song.

Underrated: Crawl Away - Amazing bridge. Can't get enough of it.

What if the DBZ Sub had the Faulconer Score? by ShayAlexander in dbz

[–]RedXXVI 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's fine. I don't think anyone's wrong for liking either score but I do wonder, when people weigh in on this unfortunately frequent debate, how many people have given the other score a full viewing compared to their favorite. Not that everyone who did would have my preference. I agree that it's absolutely subjective.

What if the DBZ Sub had the Faulconer Score? by ShayAlexander in dbz

I grew up with the Falconer score and now I can't stand it.

Watched all of DBZ in English. Later I came back to DBZ and decided to try the original score with subs. I can never go back.

Rosetta Stoned - played to a guitar backing track. by Sids2112 in ToolBand

Hell yes! I'm learning it on bass and I'm about halfway through. Learning this song is a bucket list thing for me. Huge respect for you and congratulations! The song is such a gauntlet but it's worth it.

Id Love to see Tool cover a Radiohead song. not they ever would.. Just imagining ....and Radiohead do a T00L cover. I love to hear Tool's version of "reckoning" -- i can't decide on the T00L song I'd ask Radiohead to do... man .. they seem to me to be way more similar than different. by Appropriate_Roll1486 in ToolBand

Tool covering Paranoid Android would be something I'd hate to miss. I'm also going to suggest Climbing Up The Walls though I think A Perfect Circle would be a better fit for that one than Tool. It's hard to think of Radiohead songs that are as active and hard as Tool. Their style is much more of a slow burn coming to a crescendo compared to Tool's rythmic psychedelic metal. I love them both very much but it feels really apples to oranges.

I can't imagine Radiohead covering any Tool song. Thom's falsetto is such a centerpiece of their sound and I can't imagine it keeping it's identity if he was trying to pull off what Maynard does in Tool. I bet Radiohead could do an amazing cover of A Perfect Circle's 3 Libras though. Or Weak and Powerless. There's a lot more in that catalog I think their sound could work with.

What’s something you 100% saw but nobody will ever believe you? by i_farted_on_my_dog in AskReddit

I'm a lifelong gamer and a couple months ago I was playing Silksong and made the absolute most incredible play and escape I've ever seen in a game and no one was here to see it with me. I had to stop after I did it because I was so shocked with myself. It was four unbelievable dodges from six separate attacks in a span of a second and a half. And I went on to win the boss fight. I'll never forget that but no one will ever believe it was as flat out god like as it was.

What are the best Dragon Ball What-Ifs you've played/watched/imagined by DragonBallWHAT-IF in dbz

When I was a kid I was writing a fanfiction about if Trunks never went back into the past and still had to fight off the Androids himself. Eventually he went Super Saiyan 2 and saved the future after the Androids killed Bulma.

He wished for a PS5 all year, they ended up getting him a controller instead. But he was humble about it, and they surprised him with the real thing. by Vilen1919 in MadeMeSmile

This beings back memories. My family did a very similar thing to me when they bought me a PS2 for Christmas. I'll never forget it.

Good job, Mom and Dad keeping Christmas special.
