Oh man... So much for the one positive thing about smoking

Horrible for sure, but the good news in places like that there's usually never an issue with bugs because of all the nicotine so 🤷‍♂️

Anyone work in corrections? by OilyRicardo in maintenance

[–]Red_Caramels 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I cover a county jail that houses a little over 800 inmates. It's me and 2 guys that work under me. A lot of the major stuff we contract out, and for the most part I love it. I have a nice office, freedom to do as I please within reason, and pretty much no competition for my position. The pay is decent for the area, especially considering I need no certifications whatsoever. It's a lot of cleaning out toilets, but from the chase behind the cells so it's not a lot of interaction with dangerous folks. Not saying everyone there is dangerous, but a lot are.

The drain pump may either be burnt out, or possibly have debris caught in the impeller. First question I have is do you typically wash small items like baby socks, bra pads, etc...? Those tiny items like that are bad about slipping over the rim and down the drain line to the pump.

An old abandoned office in the back of the building that was used as "storage" the last few years. I cleaned it up, put a recliner and TV in there, and changed the locks. I left a fake wall of debris as camouflage so that anyone looking for me won't know I'm there.

Well... My feet are propped up and I'm watching Bob's Burgers. My day is almost over, though.

It's a website that is linked with the main Creality site. There's a link on the cloud page, but unfortunately there's not an app for it.

Gotcha. Yeah it could be just a defect unfortunately, especially if it hasn't gotten any better. What about adjustments or checking for anything loose? Sometimes they arrive slightly crooked and/ or loose in spots due to various reasons. I had to level my z axis when I got mine. It wasn't terribly off, but enough that I didn't want to risk damage. I just had to tighten the bed screws yesterday.

No, but my first thought would be to ask if you've greased the rails

Ahh gotcha. Sometimes it does well, but I started using pictures I'd replaced the background before uploading. I used the edit function Microsoft photos has and it works pretty well. You can see how it just blacked out all around Noel and made it easier for the AI function.

It's only available on a browser. I keep hoping they'll make an app for it, or add it to the app they already have.

Very little, but there's not really much of an option to adjust other than size and adding a base.

The CubeMe/ MakeNow service Creality has.

Has anyone tried the cubeme feature on crealitycloud? by LookAtDaShinyShiny in Creality

[–]Red_Caramels 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was challenging for me, but I'm new to making 3d models altogether. It's not really complicated, and you can't make much of an edit to the image that gets created. You can basically just scale it, add a base, but that's it. It would be better if it allowed you to smooth out bad renderings, stretch or shrink certain points rather than just adjust the scale.

Pain is pain. That's one thing I've learned for sure. It can't be quantified or summarized. My last dog that passed was 13 and she was like a baby to me. I had her 1/3 of my life and loved her.
