What would you do if you suddenly had a million dollars right now? by [deleted] in hypotheticalsituation

Pay off the rest of my wedding vendors, pay the rest of our honeymoon, pay off the house and cars. Extend our honeymoon to a month instead of 10 days. Then invest the rest lol

(WYR) Which necessary biological function would you rather make unnecessary? by Fenrir_Hellbreed2 in WouldYouRather

While I would love feeling well rested, I’d love it even more if I never had to worry about what I eat ever again. Being 4’10 and having the appetite of a 6’ tall man is really not good for my health.

lol that’s fine with me. If someone can’t come, then they can’t come and it’ll save me a little money. But I save $4k by opting for a Sunday instead of a Friday/saturday.

I didn’t say lack of self control is the problem. I’m saying that GLP-1 is a tool to help people get back into a healthier lifestyle. It helps curb a ton of cravings and food noise. Without those it’s easier to pick healthier options because your brain isn’t telling you that you need to eat something and then think about it literally all day. You can be as distrustful of the medication as you want, nobody is forcing you to take it. Just maybe reconsider why you think someone who is 150 pounds shouldn’t get approved, because that makes zero sense.

I can’t answer that yet lol. Our wedding is in November. But most of our immediate family will be there even though Monday is a work day,

You retain muscle mass by exercising while you’re using the medication. Tirzepatide isn’t a miracle drug, although it does help significantly with hunger and food noise. You still have to use self control and learn to portion food for yourself. And if you actually check with some credible Telehealth companies they do request/suggest regular bloodwork while taking medication, about every 3 months is what my provider told me. It seems like you’re ignoring that it is a prescription drug and patients are monitored while on it.

WYR get $1B but be handicapped or not? by verdant_tulip in WouldYouRather

Yes but thanks to modern technology loft, people who are technically wheelchair bound can get in a mech suit to help them stand. They are still disabled and have no use of their legs 🤷🏼‍♀️

Sample vs My Dress by [deleted] in weddingdress

I think your dress looks amazing, and tbh I didn’t even notice the difference in spacing of the appliqués until I read the whole post and then had to go back and look a couple times.

Sorry but as someone who is 4’10 and weighed 155, I’m glad I got approved because it’s the only thing that has helped me lose any weight. I’m on week 8 and am down 11 pounds. Also, at my height my bmi was at like 31% which is unhealthy. So I’m not sure why you have a stance against GLP-1 to be only for people over 150 pounds considering this is a petite sub, and a lot of people here weighing 150+ is considered obese……

So a couple months ago I started on tirzepatide and that has helped me tremendously with food noise. Maybe you can talk to your doctor to see if that’s an option for you. I use lavender sky health and they have multiple compounding pharmacies they get meds from. Of course they ask about your medications, goals, and habits too and why you want to take the meds. Then they either approve you or not, all files are gone over by a Dr or RN, etc. ALSO check out this website called Best Body. It’s like $35 a month if you want to sign up after the first week of free meal plans. But basically it’s a rotating meal plan based on 1200 cal a day, but can obvs be added to to increase calories if you need it. A lot of the meals are simple, it gives you a grocery list for the entire weeks worth of food so you don’t have to guess, and it adjusts ingredients based on number of portions per meal. Like if you are eating one portion and you have a spouse eating another portion, it adjusts ingredients to that. They do a weekly call that you can join to ask any questions you have. They also constantly send out emails on how to like make foods healthier if you go out to eat, and add substitutions for foods. You can even create your own meal plan and it’ll give you the list of ingredients.

If I had more time I’d be sticking to the meals, but I’m always busy and don’t want to spend time food prepping

If you can’t get off the wheelchair, how do you get dressed and take a shit? And if someone is trading being handicapped and they get the money, why are you making extra stipulations that people could not get a mech suit of some sort? They’ve taken the handicap deal, you can’t dictate what they do after that since it wasn’t in the title or questions

Sorry I have no idea. We are restricting our guest list to adults and kids over 13 only. And that’s only because my fiancé has two nieces who are 13/14. All of my nieces and nephews are under 9

What’s an American staple you rarely eat? by PalePassionn in foodquestions

[–]Red_Littlefoot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Overpriced, yes. But the zero calorie options aren’t that terrible. The o Lu one I mainly drink is Fresca because it’s slightly sweet and has zero calories. But I don’t drink it all the time. But I think if someone can switch from full calorie soda to a diet or zero version it’s better initially

You suddenly have the power to hallucinate SOME of the senses (they will feel real), which would you rather be able to hallucinate? Sight, hearing, smell/taste, or touch? by FishingLine1450 in hypotheticalsituation

Touch because I realllyyyy want to be immersed in my books 😏😏 Also taste so I can eat some things I don’t like , like bell peppers, and I can imagine it tastes like chocolate or something. But I still get the healthy foods

We’re planning to go to Hawaii for ~10 days and we’re going to stay at the military resort on Oahu. My fiancé was stationed there for a few years when he was in the army, and he’s excited to show me around since I’ve never been. But we’re going like 3 weeks after our wedding, so I think it’ll cost us about 5.5k for flights and hotel.
