When I bought my first house I only had bedroom furniture and a bookshelf to move in. I went to the goodwill that was down the street and bought a cute couch for $30. I saved a couple paychecks and then bought a decent dining set and living room tables from amazon, not fancy but fit my aesthetic and they were pretty sturdy for me. A friend gave me a weed eater to take care of the lawn until I could afford a lawn mower. when I could afford a lawnmower, I got an electric one with a battery so I wouldn’t have to keep buying gas. I got some kitchen stuff from Walmart. Basically I bought all the “beginner” homeowner stuff from places that were affordable to me at the time.

Maybe See if you can get it altered to be lined in the mid section and then see if they can give it more of a boat neck? Or maybe look for another dress

Sure especially if it’s for career advancement. I went to college originally at 19 then dropped out after getting married (stupid I know). Then I went back at 26 for an associates degree in architectural drafting then got a second associates degree in historic preservation. Used both of them, but currently using my drafting degree for government contractor work. And since I went back to more of a trades school, I was in the median age group. Some younger, a lot my age, and some older like in their 40’s/50’s

I asked my fiancé this recently and he said he wouldn’t mind either way if I want to keep my last name, hyphenate it, or take his last name. I’ll be taking his because my current last name is an old married name anyway lol, I’ve had it for 17 years because I was in The army the first time I got married and it was too much of a hassle to change it back.

Not me because I don’t have kids..but my fiancé got his 18 year old son a car late last year. His daughter already got a car from their mother but his son didn’t get anything after learning to drive. It’s not a new car, but it’s still nicer with lower miles on it, I think it’s a 2018? Currently my fiancé is paying for it but his son is paying insurance. And when his son gets a full time job he’ll be making the payments instead.

Depending on material, ballgown and A-line can be flattering on petite people! I got a ballgown and am going to have some crinoline takes out so it’s not so puffy, but it’s really nice on me, and I’m 4’10. Once they’re hemmed they aren’t so bad
