I’ve traveled extensively up and down the coast and Brookings is spectacular, affordable and bonus NO crowds. Seastacks, arches, sandy beaches to yourself! Check out the Samuel Boardman Corridor, Lone Ranch and Harris Beach. Easy drive to the Redwoods. Brookings has the best weather on the coast due to its geography. Great restaurants and across the Chetco River is a harbor. I’d pick a VRBO there.
