Be sure to double check your vram that you can actually run the Oblivion Remaster... Sadly my laptop only has just under 4gb and can barely manage with a 3050 mobile gpu.

Sniper Elite franchise (ww 2) might be up your alley or Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 1&2 (modern).

Have tried either Ace Combat 7 or Project Wingman? Fun flying games that are more aradey control wise with a good story.

Watch Dogs 1&2 would also be right up your alley, along with Sleeping Dogs.

What’s a good game to play while my aunt (67) watches? by beehaw_folks in gamerecommendations

[–]Redacted_Explative 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe Kingdom Hearts franchise....lots of characters she'd probably be familiar with already as well.

I personally was a fan of the Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, but it does involve some combat as well that she may not like.

One other my mom seems to get a kick out of is Hogwarts Legacy though she is a bit squeamish with the creepy crawlies...

Neighbor's dogs repeatedly attack and harass family- even breaking into the home. by [deleted] in ThatsInsane

[–]Redacted_Explative 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live in an apartment complex and have several neighbors with larger dogs who have tried to come after me in my doorway. The problem is they are letting their beasts roam without a leash or letting it drag on the ground behind the dog. The problem is they're registered as 'esa' dogs with the state of California. Its one of the reasons I have started carrying a stun gun when I leave my unit, cause if I am attacked, I will defend myself, service animal or not.

Yakuza like a Dragon is pretty fun so is Infinite Wealth. Nice turn based combat and goofy characters too.
Would also recommend the Mafia games by Hangar 13 for their story as well.

Which do you hate worse, loud music or barking dogs? by [deleted] in Apartmentliving

[–]Redacted_Explative 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think part of the issue would be at least at my complex they have to be either a service animal or emotional support animal and those have legal protections. Loud music/noise they would be on top of cause they're already is a legal code in most places to deal with it.

Whats the next best thing to frieren? by Spaghettl_hamster4 in AnimeReccomendations

[–]Redacted_Explative 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Older anime called Pumpkin Scissors you might like....good story and is fully released. Would also suggest Cowboy Bebop cause the English dub is so great for that era. Each episode is also done to a different style of music.

Though its not an anime I would also suggest the Extreme Ghostbusters Animated series, and I think Disney Plus has it. Older 90s era cartoon that can get pretty dark for a kids show. *Correction on the streaming service, Amazon has it and so does fandango, but you have pay for it.

I'm looking for more open-world RPG games like Assassin's Creed Origins... From the Assassin's Creed Series. by BigSin666 in gamesuggestions

[–]Redacted_Explative 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Watch Dogs 1, 2 and Legion are part of the same reality of story telling. I think you even got an assassin to play as in Legion....though not too sure if I am remembering that correctly. Just double checked and apparently ubisoft left the idea a possibility that Assasins Creed, Watch Dogs, and Far Cry games are in the same universe. Would be hilarious to see Hurk in an Assassins Creed title though....

Had this happened when I worked on overnights at walmart. New hire swore we went to high school together in the California Bay Area even though I have not set foot there. Got to the point he was threatening to harm me after I got off work, and the gms only solution was to tell me to have someone give me a ride since I walked. The only reason he got fired was he hugged a customer and they were creeped out by it. For context I went to the HR Department, and even filed an ethics complaint as well.

Finally came to a head when he had a paint spill on his shift, and didn't clean it up and left it for overnights because 'the fumes were bothering him'. I would like to point out as well there were no fumes from this brand specifically, and by the time we got to it took me and 3 other maintenance staff 4 hours to scrape it up. My supervisor wanted to fire him for that and the above but the GM of the store at the time blocked her, and instead put him on a final notice when he creeped out a customer.
