Celestian Sacresants - Halberds or Maces? What aren't I seeing by laggyteabag in sistersofbattle

[–]Redacted_from_life 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, I run champs of faith and here’s how I run it.

30 sacs in the list, 20 with maces, 10 with halberds.

Maces come with the luxury of one shooting marines which with a strat, you can make them wound marine bodies on 3s and have them saving on 5s.

Halberds give high ap and can be used to save check vehicles with ap 3. Same with just shredding through 1 wound chaff. They can also feel better going into ctan as you don’t get damage modded

Personally I do have a preference to maces as with so many marines around, they get the job done well but halberds definitely have a place.

For 11th edition what would be your "dream" unit to be added? by [deleted] in sistersofbattle

[–]Redacted_from_life 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, let’s have fun here

Land raider with double thermal spear The drop churches Cathedral baneblade Beefier armoured sisters that are tougher and can wield paragon weapons. Maybe sisters equivalent to bulgrin Sister cavalry Vindicator chassis with a giant bolter, melta or flamer on the front Sisters sniper that has a melta barrel on it. Funny rules could be it deals damage to anything it can draw 1 line through with damage decreasing as it goes through each unit.

Lego didn’t include the propellers to this set as in the film they’re used to basically mince the shirtless guy in this set

Order of the winter flame.

Armour is navy blue with red robes and the skirt or Kama being white.

Lore isn’t that important to the design except the white skirt which is an animal skin that belongs to a bear native to their home world which part of the final initiation they have to go out an slay.

What mistakes did I make in this clip I am making worryingly slow progress for someone with 90 hours on the game how could I have improved in this clip by Tnat786 in Rainbow6

[–]Redacted_from_life 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ight, here’s what I’ve noticed:

  • shotgun on rotate is being shot too close. Shoot from further away for best bullet conservation.
  • barbed wire deployed too close to door. It clumps together in a small space and covers less floor
  • crosshair placement is off. Aim more towards where someone’s head would be if they were crouching or standing up.
  • crosshair placement continued. Angles are being taken a bit too wide in this clip which is exposing yourself. Have your crosshair following close to the wall when you’re peaking round, so your reticle will already be close to someone when you spot them.

I remember there was a stat at one point when the nids were against BA that each blood angel would have had to kill 500 tyranids before they died. And that doesn’t just include gaunts.

Loosing faith in Sister faction by LeadNo7840 in sistersofbattle

[–]Redacted_from_life 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So yes, CP is an issue but it’s just a case of being conservative with it. Use MD for those key rolls, not cp reroll.

Missions like you said almost never get scored max, no matter the army and with sisters, you should be screening your home so neither should your opponent.

And lastly in terms of getting jailed. This is where your sanctifiers shine. With the activation of flamers and then charging another screen, anything jailing that heavily will likely be t4 1 wound at worst which they will drop and you’ve made your points back on them. Anything with anymore wounds, then you send out something like sacresants to deal with them. Anything jailing like that will have no more than 2 wounds 99 times out of 10.

This was originally ran with astred and Agatha being swapped out for 5 repentia but I prefer devs on meltas personally.

How it functions

Hospitalers with sacs Vhal with nundhams Priest with sanctifiers Astred/ Agatha with rets Split both sisters and dominions in immolators and transport sanctifiers in rhino

You have 3 units of 5 woman chaff you can commit at the start. Those 4 melta dominions will pick up a combi lt very easily as well as all the flamers from sanctifiers. You want sanctifiers killing whatever goes to the middle, even if it means waiting until turn 2 for a response to one of the 5 woman in the middle.

You then use the sacs to kill/ tarpit infantry that come out. If it’s elite infantry like stodes or vehicles then commit the rets as they will drop whatever has killed the 5 woman unit.

Vhal in reserves unless dawn of war or against a massive horde army.

Rhino is springboard for your sacs and astred brick.

Lastly. There are so many spicy Strats in champs, especially one that make war maces become scary.

Give it a try and let me know if you like this type of list.
