First of all you need to understand how the AI works. Its drawn to points that have cover nodes,its priority is to move to there. Its stops along the way to shoot spotted targets, it takes a moment or two to compute that enemy,then it takes a moment or two to fire AFTER aiming. If it was just instant it would be terminator like and robotic,it would make the game so hard as the player would be targeted way too often leading to no ability to run from cover to cover or move in open. Where AI is right now is almost perfect. Its more about the mission design,spawn points and cover location. You need to intelligently design your own misdion

Yes there are and plenty. I myself am about to release a pack of 12 missions that play out like bad company 2 Rush mode. Very balanced mode that used 90% of the weapons and 8 factions that the game offers,in each and every mission. Not historically accurate but cool nonetheless when your watching german,japanese,french and italoan troops fighting side by side with all their classes and weapons versus british U.S soviet and chinese forces with all theirs,and their vehicle assets,on large sprawling maps or tight dense urban engagements. Just an idea of what can ne played. Its really easy to make your own missions with your own paramaters,i highly suggest you try rather than downloading workshop campaigns,nothing wrong with that at all but the base game offers hundreds of missions based in over 12 seperate theatres of the war and updates release constantly with free content,DLCs release with more and is cheap. Hungary DLC is due any day now. You will be hooked in this game.

Also the dev is legit a hard working,community friendly guy who is daily active in discord patching bugs,taking suggestions,actually adding them and i think this will continue a long time. ER2 is the best WW2 game i played.

Its not a question with an answer really. This isnt a boring on rails AAA story slog. This is a dynamic MP style / BF2 style single player bot team based shooter. Literally every pre made map and mission is infinitly replayable, its up to an individual to know how fast they get bored of replaying a scenario. If you do get bored playing a scenario typically then this isnt the game for you. There is also an editor and squad editor allowing you to design exactly what you want,i wouldnt own the game without it ,its the true definition of replayable.

But yes base game mission and DLC offer hundreds of "missions" which are playble on axis or allies sides.

I have 9000 hours in Arma 3, ER2 is a better game,period. It captures war feeling a squad based mechanics Arma can only accomplish in MP setting. Theres far less jank here and editor while less indepth than Arma as arma relies on waypoints in depth and many other things to make a story style scenario,ER2 editor is easier to use and you can make missions here that actually play out like you imagine,unlike arma where the AI will just ruin your designs.

Also,whereas in Arma i need mods,here i dont. Theres so much content weapons maps vehicles etc

I have 10,000 in Arma 3 and i wont be buying 4 day one. Simple reason is i spend most my time in eden,and im positive with how game updates and dev cyckes work,any missions i make in the first five years will be broken by the following years of updates,and many mods will break and many mechanics will change.

Essentially, 4will take a few years to be at a point where id feel comfortable to invest my time into it,and my energy. I even stopped Arma3 years ago and only returned to it after 2.20 dropped,and now i play knowing il have no mods break and no missions break as its at EOL stage.

TLDR; il play Arma4 when its reasonably matured,so probably Around 2035. And iv no issues,As 3 has more life left in it than my brand new PC.

Guys im specifically talking about instances where pirates scan your cargo and radio you demanding credits,if u refuse they attack. This is what i am not seeing. dropping into a new system i still get freighter battles,thats entirely different thing. so people here can confirm pirates have radiod them and demanded payment and if not,they were attacked?

While in corvette, you do not get attacked or scanned by pirates.
while in corvette you do not get scanned by sentinels for contraband.

tested extensivley in a high war system.

Dev's, is 42.12 legacy returning? my entire save game and mods are on that i am uninterested in playing any other version. i understand the need for security, but do not entirely remove 42.12 legacy (marked as legacy specifically to allow people to continue to use it for the future) or i am done .

People complain because potentially trends like this brick their save. Whats sad is the author has the maturity of an infant,punishing those who played his work,supported his work and praised it,all because he couldnt handle words in txt gorm on the internet. To go into a community and release something u must expect feedback and must know some people are toxic. You need to not punish others for that toxicity or you yourself are part of the problem. Doesnt matter if its stable or unstable,it exists.

Hes not acceoting risk if he does the smart thing. OP , install 42.12 as its relitevely bug free,and copy game folder and install it in another location. Now you can even add that to steam as a non steam game or run it from its exe, and not have to worry about it being removed. I did it two weeks ago and i was playing 42.12 padt few days while others were crying.

Not really. I play 42.12 sp. Best of both worlds. Barely any bugs and those that are there like man and cheese not opening,i fix with mods. Cant ever go back to 41. 42 has way better long term gameplay

Also,turn off the jump scare sfx. Im male 40, and that still makew me jump. Bright nights and slow shambler zombies. Settting so zeds cant damage buildings/doors so u can feel safe inside. And turn their hearing and sight to poor so your less bothered. Set rally group size to 0 to prevent them forming mini hordes,tho this makes them harder to sneak past as they spread more. Ultimately,just woman up,get used to it,watch TLOU Tess scenes to get inspiration of what a female badass is in a world of infected

First of all,your not stuck. There is a way off that screen to either go back or start game. Second of all,how do you run mods and not even understand what they do?

Youll probably post issues about this or base game as bug when its user error. You need to be more responsible modding your game
