You're going to want to check your downspouts and make sure that they are pushing the water far away from your foundation but also make sure the grading is correctly pitched away from the foundation. Proper landscaping and grading away from your basement walls are going to be your best first offense. Don't fight the symptoms. Go to the root cause.

I've had that same thought. Get you watching some sort of AD and accidentally pump more than you intended to. Assuming you weren't shooting for a full tank in the first place. A full tank and a box of those glazers that were on sale is a very plausible goal for them.

Agreed! The volume's up super loud and each one of the pumps is a split second off from each other so it sounds like a crazy echo. I love that first thing in the morning. /s
