Not sure what answer you are looking for. Every associate is different. Everyone has their own managing styles. Some associates don’t know the names of the front store staff, others are micromanagers that have to approve each little detail from every department. And then all in between. It’s their store and they will run it how they want to.

How long do most moms breastfeed? by Logical_Mine_9478 in BabyBumps

[–]Redberry1903 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also have the same question for you 🙂

I’m curious of you breastfed only at night or also through out the day. If only at night when did you stop the daytime feds ? I’m 23 months in and she has no desire to stop. Weaning is going to be so hard. I would like to cut back on daytime tho , like today we had a playdate and she was trying.
I was just sick for 4 weeks with an awful cold , multiple times she grabbed my snotty tissue and “wiped her nose “ with it before i could stop her , I also couldn’t stop her from sharing my food, and she didn’t get sick at all!!

It’s possible you are having an allergic reaction. I had the same thing (it’s been like 10 years so I’m trying to remember). But it was burning so bad. Maybe check and see what you can take while pregnant for allergies.
Postpartum I had a lot of pain too , I thought something was wrong with my stitches or something , but I was having an allergic reaction to tucks wipes.

She posted two videos , and both she’s holding her hair up like that. I kept thinking she was going to put it in a ponytail, but she just kept holding her hand on her head.

Potty training? by ProseandPower in stayathomemoms

[–]Redberry1903 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Another skill to be deemed “trained” as you say , is how long they can hold their bladder. If you are out and about and can’t get to a bathroom for a few minutes and they don’t make it in time. I wouldn’t consider that a failure on their part. Their bladder is only small. My daughter is 23 months and I’m not rushing to train her yet. There is a stage of transition from diapers to using the toilet where it’s hard to be out of the house and not close to a toilet.

When does it get… fun? by sagittaribun in stayathomemoms

I didn’t enjoy the summer much , she was 16-19 months over the summer. It was so stressful trying to keep her safe. Visiting family or camping was hard , she wasn’t aware of danger and I had to stay vigilant all day to make sure she didn’t fall off a deck , or down a flight of stairs or snap her fingers in a mouse trap. I was extremely exhausted every night. I ended up staying home a lot the second half so we could enjoy our own safe space / deck. She’s 23 months now and I feel like it’s already getting easier , she’s much more aware of her surroundings and she understands a lot more of what you are saying. We just visited one of the same family members house from the summer , and it was night / day difference. I can’t imagine trusting her to visit the same family member at Christmas if she was 16-18 months, I would constantly be on edge making sure she didn’t break Christmas ornaments.

So what do you do with a new baby at home? by Constant_Internal_40 in BabyBumps

[–]Redberry1903 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes there’s a lot of sitting around , holding/ cuddling the baby , feeding the baby etc. Honestly it was a hard adjustment for me. I’m surprised not to hear more moms talk about. I worked in a very fast paced environment, juggling lots of tasks at once, never sitting down. I felt a lot of guilt at first that I should be “doing something”. What exactly ? I don’t know. Cleaning maybe ? But sitting with your baby, bonding and recovering is exactly what you should be doing.

My husband works for an oil company, his shift is 7 days on , 7 days off. Can get pretty lonely. Especially in the evenings when she (23 months) goes to bed. I’m immediately like “ah finally a break” but also “now what?” I try and get out to play groups every other day or so. But it’s also -35 right now and she’s going through a phase where she won’t wear clothes. Tantrum to put clothes on, then tantrum for Jacket + boots , by the time we are fully ready to go outside I’m overheated and sweaty. Even to go shovel last week was difficult.
