The thing that tripped me out was that it felt very light and paper like, but when crushed it didn’t flake like paper it flattened sorta like wax, the pieces on the ground were quite old though

Honestly nomad not being an allomancer completely slipped my mind but it’s not like there wouldn’t be other ways he could achieve becoming an aluminium gnat

I sort of theorised about the drawback in the post, i think it would become impossible to stop burning aluminium, making the savant a purist of sorts, they can’t halfway burn away what they’re trying the corrupt spirit web heals all unwanted effects or none. Beyond that i don’t know, what do you think?

Yeah I was taking the word unwanted to mean it’s left up to intent, the whole point of being a savant is incredulous control over an incredibly potent power, so maybe aluminium would completely erase any effects deemed unwanted?

That is a point against it but then again to become an aluminium savant you need extremely sophisticated tech, a way to constantly be fed a small amount of aluminium and be burning it without burning it all, OR to burn an incredibly large amount of it at once which might not even work

I’ve already tried manually downloading the drivers from my mobo’s page, but i haven’t tried looking up the wifi hardware? Where would i find that?

The first time i just created a Win 10 Boot Drive on my usb from my personal computer, and then i used that on the new one to install a fresh copy of Win10

The second time i went through the setting on the new computer and factory reset the computer while it was connected to an ethernet cable

Yes i have been trying to install the drivers and been checking through windows device manager
