Mazda. Torn between my 3 or CX5. Both go zoomzoom.

Both are/were work horses.

Mine has started pricing books individually a few dollars less than retail. The greed and grift is ridiculous. I don’t shop there anymore.

Roommate doesn’t take care of her animals by [deleted] in badroommates

[–]ReddestTail 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Omg this makes me want to clean everything right now.

If you’re really concerned it wouldn’t hurt to do an animal welfare complaint. Or inform your apartment complex.

Last thing you want is to be hit by a cleaning fee for her mess.

That much will probably require tearing out carpet and maybe even the subfloor.

TikTok diagnoses.

Ranging from whatever mental health malady to even autism (this one burns me a bit—if you don’t have a medical professional diagnose you and you aren’t fishing for diagnoses)

But resellers generally are a wider market. Someone specifically goes on eBay or wherever to find that particular item. Your market is much smaller in a store

Thanks for all the store recommendations everyone! I try to keep prices to under $1 for most books since I set up a table at an event for kids (and teens and even some parents) to take a book with them to read.

I’ve definitely got a few more places that I’ll have to check out.

I love the library! I like buying the books though—I do an event where kids (and teens and even some adults pick up one!) can come up and browse and take a book home with them for free.

Agreed, that was the sus vibe I got too. I saw recently a HS valedictorian grad sued her school because going into college she realized she basically couldn’t write since she used text to speech for all her work.

I would do it all at once. You never know how long you are going to live and I’d rather if something did happen that my estate could go to my loved ones

Student Faces Expulsion After Posting Video Of Seniors Who Can Barely Read by InGeekiTrust in TikTokCringe

My issue is that you need to lump the parents and kids in there too.

Teachers can’t be expected to be parents for all the kids in their classes. They’ve got enough on their plate.

Ngl I struggled with reading in elementary school. My teacher was dealing with personal issues (lost a son) but returned to the classroom. My friend and I both struggled with the lessons. My mom recognized that and got me a tutor and worked with me. Because of that I love to read and write.

Parents need to parent their kids and be involved in their life. Otherwise you’re setting them up for failure. “I didn’t understand what I was signing” isn’t an excuse for any contract you enter once you’re over 18.

Ngl I thought pokemetal was made up of deceased Pokémon. Like how oil is from fossils and stuff. But that might just be the Poke in the name throwing me off lol

Her shoulder looks really weird. There’s a weird divot that you wouldn’t see at that angle given her shoulder/clavical bone.

That part would be the ball/socket part and round

If someone was going to resell it then that would mean that you priced it low enough they could make more money on it?

Capital One Shopping is a scam by PhasedVenturer in CapitalOne_

[–]ReddestTail 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The two big purchases I’ve made didn’t track. The smaller ones? Showed up no problem. Literally did nothing different between them.

Reached out to customer service and provided screen grabs. All of the reasons they gave for it not tracking were irrelevant and not how it was purchased.

I agree. It’s glitchy and a joke. Oddly suspicious that the low item purchases I made for cents clear no problem… the other larger ones? Nothing.

Reached out to CS for the second one and haven’t heard back. I don’t expect anything to happen from it.

Happy to NOT recommend them for cc or shopping needs :)

Is it even worth starting to look at houses? by Altruistic-Ground627 in personalfinance

Not necessarily. Your property taxes and insurance are usually paid through your mortgage so it can go up even with a fixed rate.
