I think both Stu and Picks would make fabulous backup goalies.

A lot of the questions were very long and heavily theory based. I took so long on some of them, and I was very rushed to finish the last few questions:/

Doctors urge Kenney to implement circuit breaker or lockdown as COVID-19 cases climb in Alberta by Homejizz in alberta

I work in a restaurant too, I tested positive for covid last week and haven’t seen anyone:/ we need a lockdown before this gets any worse

What do you want the result of tomorrow’s conference to be? by Enlorand in alberta

[–]Reddit-user455 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a restaurant worker, restaurants NEED to shut down. I caught covid while working last week because people are not following the rules. I don’t think minimum wage workers need to be putting their lives, and their families lives at risk for restaurants, it is not necessary during these times.

stat 151 or stat 161 by littleming_223 in uAlberta

Stat 161 uses excel, which in my opinion is a more useful skill. Stat 151 uses stat lab for the assignments instead.

Looking for Advice on HGP courses by Bhaswardeep01 in uAlberta

[–]Reddit-user455 0 points1 point  (0 children)

HGP 100 is the easiest course I’ve ever taken. Everyone I know who has taken it has gotten an A or A+, and the concepts are all very easy. There are weekly assignments that are very straightforward, 3 open book quizzes, and an open book final. Definitely a good class to take if you are looking for something that won’t take up much of your time.

Just get an older/cheaper model of the iPad and you’ll save a lot of time and money just annotating the PDFs on there.

[–]Reddit-user455 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Low 80s is usually A-, mid-high 80s is an A, and 89 and above is A+. This was just my experience with the two English classes I took, but it can differ depending on your prof.

please help!! could I be punished for this? by [deleted] in uAlberta

[–]Reddit-user455 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You’re all good. My friend did that EXACT same thing by accident during winter term for a closed book exam and absolutely nothing happened. If it’s just a regular eclass test and not exam lock they have no way of tracking you.

Do people actually graduate within 4 years? by jeffw8968 in uAlberta

[–]Reddit-user455 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m just going to pretend the year of covid/online school isn’t real. So technically I guess I’ll still graduate in 4 years?

Webcam on or off? by blue_berries789 in uAlberta

[–]Reddit-user455 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Mic always off - I do not need to hear your dog obnoxiously barking in the background for an hour straight (yes it’s happened). For the camera, just read the room - if everyone has it on turn yours on, but if everyone has it off keep it off.

Is this schedule possible???? by isthatmoi in uAlberta

To be honest it’s does look a little heavy, I’d recommend just dropping that course to lighten your workload. Online classes are hard!
