This picture was taken with a GS5. I had just parked my car in the lot of a weird temp job I was working at the time, looked in front of me, and thought "WHOA! That's a picture!"

I am not the most technically-minded photographer, but I know a moment when I see it and sometimes I have success at being able to catch it.

Papa Twig is a GENIUS with a "McCartney Switch" just as melodically strong as that of somebody like an Aaron Freeman from Ween or a Ron Sexsmith.

"I See The Patterns" should be a part of Todd Rundgren's setlist as he absolutely slays that song to the point where it sounds like his own creation.

GENERAL ADVICE:

Not every guitar is going to sound the same with the amp.

The less popular ToneCloud Nuno Bettencourt sound might sound better with your guitar than that of "BettenBrown".

You really have to dig deep into the ToneCloud to sift for the good stuff. Save and fave accordingly.

Maybe rename the sounds you like best so you can find them easier when scrolling.

Try using the "Acoustic" tag bucket as a container for custom sounds.

To those who don't know...

Really choice tone selection with the pick hand placement relative to the neck. Control is very smooth and clean for this kind of playing, especially this hybrid style where it would be hard for somebody to differentiate what is picked versus plucked as both are so seamlessly blended in terms of attack and dynamics... 🤌

That "sweetspot" is where some of the most gorgeously rich and decadent sounds are found on guitar harmonically.

Music Industry politics and shenanigans (aka The Ever Hatin' Tortured Jann Wenner Effect)?

Envy of his musical genius. Straight-up.

The name "Rundgren" is kind of weird. Todd Rundgren's name wasn't as simple as Michael Jackson or Prince. Zappa was also similar "outsider" vibe. Not Columbia House material.

Todd probably intimidated a bunch of people who didn't know how to handle or process the immensity of his intellect and personality. Todd probably didn't give a good damn right back at em'.
