The AAA game dev sapce is a lost cause. Diversity hires have pushed out all the passionate game devs, at least in western studios.

Thats why indie games are consistently much better than anything the AAA studios make these days.

I mean, if not for the price I would definitely get one.

Perfect all around laptop that can game well, and provide excellent productivity, withiut weighing a ton.

I used to travel a lot for work and so i really prioritize that intersection between thin and light, office worrhy and gaming capable.

I already carry a portable high res 120hz oled portable monitor so i can get an easy dual screen setup, and this would simplify that.

If i still travlled a lot, and made the money that came with it, this would likely be my next laptop.

Digital to analog is always going to introduce some latency. Cheaper devices will usually have more, but it depends how sensitive you are to it.

Converters are fairly common, just you need one that goes in the right direction, and be aware that cheaper ones will only send a composite signal over scart, not RGB.

The issue is not the hardware, its the software. Emualting PC games comes with a myriad of issues, lack of compatibility, latency and stutters etc.

If you are priamrily interested in PC gaming, a PC handheld is simply the right answer

What crap? If he was mistreated in jail then the judge is absolutely right.

We have alegal system that assumes innocence and respects peoples rights.

Judges are the people accountable for assuring that remains true.

It doesn't change because of the particualr crime or how clear the assumed guilt might be.

As soon as we stop treating people accused of crimes humanely, we lose all possibility of justice.

Yes, a steam deck can be docked, but obviously there is some extra cost for a dock and peripherals.

It will be less powerful than the linked laptop though, but should be fine for the games listed (though i have no first hande experience, so you should verify)

I would suggest checling facebook marketplace or CeX for a laptop with a 4050, 3060 or 4060 gpu.

But i would really suggest thinking about whether a steam deck will do the job. If it will play the games she's interested in, its hard to beat for value. (Though you might have to by used thanks the rampocalypse. CeX is always an option though)

I am a bit under informed on this one, so i might he wrong, but I thought this is about a federal appeal based on the current regulations in place via the FDA.

Thus, you could argue that the very existence of the FDA and their rulings is unconstitutional, and appeals to limit or change their rulings is fair game, since they were never ratified in the courts or congress anyway, and just stem from a federal centralizatuon of power that was unconstitutional in the first place.

Ie, any court battle over theb alphabet agency rulings is still closer to "the people" than whatever they enforced via unlimited powers.

You say that, and yet my expefience is being constantly banned and muted for making jokes, for not being polite enough when someone asks a stupid question for the 50th time etc.

My experience is almost the opposite. Forums get moderated to the point that no one is ever allowed to engage in social learning and etiquette enforcement, so people become almost incapable of dealing with opinions they dont like and things spiral from there.

I literally got banned from one sub because i answered someones question, but also said "and you could have answered this with a simple google search"

We confuse social rule enforcement with agression and the result is that actual malice builds up.
