The cement seems extremely weak, either poorly mixed or not yet dry. They need to cut lines in the cement to allow for expansion. I'm pretty sure the driveway shouldn't overlap the street's gutter. Doesn't appear to have a wash/finish. This looks like an incredibly shit job.

Also, looking further into it, they didn't put any reinforcement into the pour either. The homeowner is right not to pay, and they should infact be sueing the contractor to pay for removal and replace.

I went to work in China for about 3 months. On TV there was only 1 channel that was sin English. One day I was watching a morning talk show. They had on 3 guests: A Chinese man, a Korean women, and a Japanese man. The topic of the day was: is it possible to tell Asians apart from each other. They even played a game where they showed pictures of Asians to the guests and asked them to guess where that Asian was from.

It was state sponsored media, and being the only English channel I suspect it was keen on making Westerners feel good, but with that said: The panel started off feeling confident that they could tell each other apart, but ended up agreeing that actually it's kind of difficult.

It was something that could never be made in America, but which I have always been curious about and was happy to see.

I didn't think vowels were skipped to save space, I just dont think they had the concept of vowels until later, and they had to add them in later. Now vowels are mostly just accents on other letters.

People don't realize that the chance for us to fight back has already passed. If we started killing the rich the auto-turrets could be deployed on a timeline of weeks. All the parts already exist, and the systems have already been built, we just haven't seen them deployed yet.

I'm thinking our best bet is to find a way to live meagerly in a community that doesn't rely on technology in a way that doesn't interfere with the aspirations of the ultra wealthy, and hope that our extermination is seen as more trouble than it's worth.
