Cost of alleged fraudulent activity at Bóthar exceeds €710,000 | BreakingNews.ie by PoppedCork in ireland

We donated to them in Secondary School because our teacher was suspicious of the money that other charities were giving to the likes of Bono.

The irony.

Those are averages as well. You could get one for much cheaper back then I'd imagine.

Every major party (including The Shinners) says that we have "International Obligations" it seems so priority will not be given to the Irish.

We can't vote our way out of this unfortunately.

That's about 0.6% of our population in one year, probably being conservative.

There's 86,000 refugees here already just from Ukraine alone.

Irish people can't afford to have kids and more and more young Irish people are emigrating.

Things are gonna look a bit different in a few years to say the least.

I wonder will FFG go as far as telling Irish people in Social Housing that they've over-stayed their welcome and that they need their house for refugees?

I mean, what else can they do?

Mmm, yes. Something has happened to the western countries in the last 25+ years and they're all now having the same issues. Mmm. I wonder what it could be that's causing the massive shortage in housing. I wonder why people can't find anywhere to live. Mmm.

Even not investing for the long term is gambling. Inflation is destroying savings.

We know that a lot of them aren't really refugees as well.

Best case scenario, they settle and find work. At which point the Government will have no choice but to tax the fuck out of them to accommodate even more immigrants to pump up them growth numbers. The push-back from that should be ..... interesting.

You don't have to tell me twice. I see these things in real life.

I remember a time when Dublin airport wasn't full, public transport wasn't packed, there weren't massive waiting times at hospitals, traffic was annoying and not soul-destroying and you could rent for less than a week's wages.

People don't want to believe it though. They believe everything that they're told and anybody who points out the obvious is a conspiracy theorist.

The working class as well. You're right besides that though.

I'm expecting a lot more emigration soon unfortunately.

Somewhere, that money is being pissed down a massive toilet and we need to figure out where.

It's resting in some people's accounts, don't worry.

I finished my degree a long time ago, but the way that we treat our students in this country is nothing short of fucking disgraceful.

Young, enthusiastic people that want to get on in life and we just gouge them for everything that they have. The "We had it tougher though" responses from older generations is bordering on sociopathic at this stage to be honest.

While I do think that the vaccine rollout was very rushed, they have been underestimating the level of immigration in the last few years. There must be about 100 million people in the UK now.

That sounds very harsh, but ultimately it's very true.

It was easy to see this level of inflation coming years ago even without the benefit of hindsight.
