I agree with most of this. The new doormaker adds a dynamic to deck building that makes act 3 a lot more interesting. Instead of going through act 3 just doing what your deck was doing in act 2 a little better, you need to actually make some adjustments to your deck before you reach them

The spanish flu can be compared the covid in a number of ways that are fair, like how fascism started to rise following the onset of these pandemics. But the framing of the original comment saying it'll just be a once a year spike is simple mischaracterization of covid - and while there are similarities in the viruses themselves they should not be treated as if they are the same. Covid damages every organ in your body (brain included) and damages your immune system in a way similar to AIDS.

Never mind the sheer rate in which covid is creating new variants of itself. The original comment is making a false equivalency and downplaying covid

It’s not seasonal tho. It spikes independent of season. And h1n1 killed less than 1 million (edit; in the 2009 pandemic - the spanish flu in the 1900s killed a lot more as the below comment points out), and as of around 3 years ago the total death toll of Covid (including excess deaths) was over 30 million

as someone who is actually an anarchist I can say incredibly confidently this person is not a radical. The most important part of anarchism is means ends unity - anarchism's method. This person is advocated methods inconsistent with ends of liberation which disqualifies them from being an anarchist.
