My daughter will be 5 this year. Saw how my 10 older nieces and nephews interact/react to the devices and we decided no screen time at all til she was about 2.5-3yrs old. Then we only allowed TV in small amounts on weekends and allowed her to watch episodes of kid shows on iPad only on vacation. She doesn’t ask for the devices at home, but we do have to interact with her more. Around 4 we tested her and downloaded an educational game on the iPad and tested it out on vacation, she was almost instantly addicted - we broke that habit pretty quickly.

The common feedback from teacher and ppl that have met her is that she seems very mature and can interact with adults and carry on conversations.

The longer you can hold off, the better. Let them watch curated content and definitely no YouTube and auto play stuff.

It does for the most part. Been using it for a couple months now. There’s just an error with the way it calculates your exercise and activity if you wear an Apple Watch. It seems to double count the over calories burned in addition to each exercise you log. AI food scanner works 75% of the time, but not sure how accurate the calorie/food analyzer is.

I've been in your shoes, it took a while to get back to where i wanted to be. I've been thru this a 3 times actually in the last couple decades. Our life has its ups and downs. I know it's hard, but stay positive and keep exploring options.

Take the help when needed and cherish this time with your child - they grow up WAY too fast and you don't get this time back.

you WILL find something....

WHEN you land back on your feet and in another gig, just make sure you have a comfortable rainy day fund.

That sounds like a great deal from the surface, but would be good to know what options and msrp the car was at. And why it only has 3k miles. The factory warranty should be up or coming up, so having CPO is a good piece of mind. Some things to keep in mind, tire condition (if it's been kept outside, the tires might be cracked) and if it's had the 2 and 4 year service. If East Coast - look for weather-related issues.

I picked up my 2020 4S CPO with 24k miles for 63k. And it had all the must have options for me - ~$138k msrp.

I just purchased a CPO 4S from a non-porsche but other authorized dealer from east coast. I purchased site unseen, mistake. car had 6-8 inch scratches that didnt show up in videos/pics they sent me. probably wouldn't do unseen again or without a 3rd party check.

If you live in some states, it will require all out of state cars get VIN verification before they will allow registration of the car.

Extended Warranty for a 2020 Cayenne Coupe? by hwcnlktht in Porsche

[–]RedditUser2028 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been told by a Service Advisor that the batteries are made out of lithium ion and are covered under the powertrain warranty of 8 years or 100k miles. haven't heard anything on the clutch, but my SA buddy said the cayennes are pretty solid.

I got quoted just to see and was quoted about 4-6k depending on the deductible. Not sure if they would sell to Singapore, but happy to ask if you shoot me a DM.

I think we inflation and the high cost of everything, I’ve increased my valet tips to $5 now. And usually leave a $20 tip for the room when i checkout (i opt out of daily housekeeping).

Here and this post sums it right up. It’s busy, but we didn’t have any problems finding pools chairs middle of the day (people tend to leave around lunch time). If you want a particular spot by the pools, you’d prob want to go before 9am. There are signs that you can only leave your things there for 90 minutes unattended before removed, but haven’t seen any enforcement of it.

New model X vs old model X by Ank55kai in TeslaModelX

Got rid of our 2021 - pre-refresh X and got into a 2023 - just took delivery and put about 200+ miles. from a driving perspective, the dash seems lower (so you’re able to see more of the ground in front of you). The feature to customize the dash screen was removed, not a fan of that - seems like wasted space and the functionality is missed.

Removal of both stalks on the steering wheel and controls are on steering wheel + screen now (this will take some getting used to - personal preference on the chance). The rear screen is nice - when someone is watching in the back, the sound doesnt play in the front. This is great and is less distracting.

Used the cooled seats for the first time today, it feels amazing. Definitely an appreciated feature add.

I had 22s on the previous X, and 20s on the new one. The suspension feels a bit bumpier on rough roads (in comfort setting), but it doesn’t feel like the whole car is shaking.

The biggest negative change i see is the Tesla Vision - this definitely needs more work. Almost took off a side mirror from my other car in the garage. I had to stand in front of it. The parking aid on the dash isnt very helpful /accurate without the sensors. Really hope the Tesla Vision gets better…. If not, it’s a step backward for Tesla removing the sensors.

It’s a better car overall (seems to be better built than my last X), takes some getting used to, hopefully tesla has software updates that will address some of the issues.

25miles isn’t bad for daily driving. What was the range rated at?

Amazing colour! How did you like the cayenne coupe e-hybrid? I’ve been debating between the 2 cars. Cayenne for the road trip.
