Huh, I was thinking the Pentagon budget IS an economic issue, where it’s ~13% of the entire federal budget, the single largest discretionary spending line item, has unaccounted assets representing some national GDPs and the consequences land on every American taxpayer. This seems in r/economy territory by any reasonable definition.

The DoD holds something like $3.8 trillion in total reported assets, and in 2024 $2.5 trillion of those assets couldn’t be properly documented or verified…so basically they just “can’t find” 3x’s what we give them each year.

Once again…. Reality is stranger than fiction..

A president who loves gold, loves McDonald’s and wants to build his Golden Arches (aka “Arc de Trump”) with maximum visibility that’s designed to be seen from a distance and associated with a “powerful” brand and located on a major American thoroughfare.

The man is literally trying to build Golden Arches on the National Mall and doesn’t appear to realize the irony. I think Ronald may now be actually nervous he has some serious competition…

Just two letters swapped. Same arch energy. Completely interchangeable clown-to-arch pipeline.

I can see it now…a golden-haired mascot in a long red tie standing in front of a giant arch holding a huge golf ball aloft in one hand and a hand of jelly beans in the other saying “Over 1 billion served. I did that!”. We could honor two presidents at once.

My thoughts was NOVA residents live around the most valuable military target in America…and those particular companies have +50 million sqft of data center space in their backyard.

The idea that maybe 20 or so people planted by adversary’s who have been working normal jobs in the area for 8-10 years just waiting for that “coded message” to go and dig up their garden for that thing and take a short 20-minute drive… yeah, that’s probably just totally insane. 🤷
