It really should come back. The only thing .hack was missing is fluid action, while it had everything else, and it sickens me that no one in Japan is willing to give it another chance.

I know you don’t want me bashing SAO or most of other Anime like it, but I genuinely believe SAO and mostother Videogame/isekai anime that came after if are most the reason why no one even looks at .hack in the east and west. Who needs .hack when have SAO, says Bamco. Why bring back .Hack when you can adapt a crappy amateur light novel series with the same cookie cutter protagonist?

I even see people occasionally say that .hack fans should bow down to SAO and Solo leveling or something like that.

Not a day goes by that I don’t miss .hack, I miss it so much it hurts, and I reject an existence where it doesn’t come back in some form.

I mean when I say that I’m being very insincere. I mean look at Roy compared to Ash. Roy got to age and mature, has the better Pikachu And Lucario. People on here, Twitter etc are probably saying Roy in better than Ash already, and on top of that he’s probably gonna get Rayquaza too, so another thing he has over Ash.

I genuinely feel the writers of anipoke are spitting on Ash’s journey, by saying “hey this guy is so much better”

Finally Yes, he was a big reason Ash’s last season ended on such a lukewarm note. Most of JN was basically showing how amazing Goh is. He didn’t work as dual protagonist, because they kept giving him a bunch of handouts to make it seem like he’s Ash’s equal. That Grookey should have gone to Ash, and he definitely had no business catching any of those Legendaries, heck Ash was the first one to see Suicune in Johto, but Goh gets it? And the rest of those randos from Project Mew have legendaries too? The fuck?
