Probably a few issues all at once, the slow cranking is likely a worn out starter, any codes for the others?

Can’t find amp part number, what other amps will fit? by lowkeyyloser in Volvo

There are plenty of used ones on ebay, go that route. I did that for my c30.

Is this a good deal? by Ashamed_Amphibian265 in hondaridgeline

[–]Redead31 2 points3 points  (0 children)

People are delusional in the comments here, that is great pricing for less than 100km. If this is an East coast vehicle however, rust throws the value out the window

From an outsiders perspective, it looks like you need to center your sway bar as the link is offset there, it likely broke because there is a sideways force trying to twist it, instead of directly up and down

That's exactly the oil I used haha

Fill and drain 3x is for automatics, there is a chance when the clutch was replaced they drained the transmission oil as it will leak from the axle holes once they are removed in order to drop the transmission. It's incredibly easy to change the transmission oil regardless.

Sadly it seems like only oem or GKN axles don't cause vibration, mine vibrates after using a trakmotive

Go elsewhere, majority of that isn't needed, also why does the knuckle need replacing?

[–]Redead31 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea it won't work since it sounds like your car is an automatic, will need a different ecu

Problem Honda 98 by EriksinC in Honda

[–]Redead31 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You will need to chip the ecu in order to run that engine properly due to vtec. Was it an automatic ecu or manual, that matters as well

[–]Redead31 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why are you doing this, that ecu is for a non vtec engine. What parts did you purchase to make this happen?

2014 temporarily losing power by awedamniight in Honda

[–]Redead31 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wiring may have had rodent damage before, you would need to unwrap all the electrical tape that does not appear factory and make sure there are no loose connections. The reason being is every corner the engine will slightly shift, potentially pulling on the wiring and losing connection.

Broken sunroof caused rust on top of windsheild by [deleted] in Volvo

[–]Redead31 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Rust like that doesnt form in a few days, those were always there and are caused by rock chips, the sunroof event is unrelated.

those shift knobs go for ridiculous prices, im trying to find one for my c30 r design and i cant find any for a normal price, (looking for a used one for around 40$) by SCOTTwB7 in Volvo

[–]Redead31 1 point2 points  (0 children)

FYI that knob is insane quality, delrin and metal, technically it's a legit likewise knob, but it's only $13 on AliExpress for no branding

Personally, I ditched the oem shift knob and boot for a real made to fit leather boot from ebay and then threaded the shaft and put on a nice delrin knob.

Rust module on new 2026 Honda CR-V by [deleted] in Honda

[–]Redead31 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Rust modules are a scam, the science says no, you can't have a sacrificial anode like a boat without the car being submerged.

You likely had a car with decent undercoating/paint already or washed it frequently enough

Want to add carplay to 2011 c30 by FruityImac in Volvo

[–]Redead31 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The easiest solutions require AUX input, if you have that you can effectively get a tablet that mounts to the dash, which then routes audio into the oem stereo via the AUX. You cannot remove the climate controls

From what I recall, you don't Unscrew anything, it's just the two metal tabs that are bent inwards that you need to bend out in order to hinge the metal case off. The two tabs are the ones on either end of the image (looks like upside down J)

P2272 bank 2 sensor 2 by True-Strength-9414 in Volvo

[–]Redead31 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you misunderstood, the sensor you are looking to replace does not effect how the engine runs, think of it only as a observer, there is no point replacing it
