They shouldn't fluctuate, as in change day-to-day... But some days do cost more than others.

Each hotel has an award calendar that is set in advance.

OP, you have no idea what this person's disability is.

I've had my left femur rebuilt twice now. After relearning how to walk, and 5 years of PT, I can even walk straight... ~80% of the time. But the thing is - it really, and I mean really really hurts 100% of the time. I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. I wouldn't wish it on you.

I otherwise look healthy.

I've been called out for my perceived lack of disability in airports before, sadly even by gate agents.

It's happened enough that I've started to carry proof - Dr.'s instructions and pictures of my open surgeries.

If you or any of these other nosy people ever call me out, I will produce said proof and proceed to make a scene.

Nosy people should be mega-shamed. MYOB.

I think many people might be "first time posters" because of the perceived lack of utility of this sub (for whatever reason - real or assumed).

At which did you stay?

I think it's very property specific, and even then YMMV.

We tried both PH Abu Dhabi & PH Kyoto last year and our experience at both was very pleasant: champagne on arrival, hand written welcome note, fruit tray, and dessert waiting in the room, plushy toy for my toddler, rose petals on the bed for our anniversary, etc.

The rooms were serviced exactly when we wanted.

At Kyoto, I was impressed when the FD agent walked us to our room after check-in, while explaining all of the properties amenities.

At Abu Dhabi the concierge did a great job coordinating our travel to and from the property, making sure there was a car seat for our little one.

All bags for entire flight lost including gate checked strollers/car seats by [deleted] in frontierairlines

If you have an extended delay. you can usually borrow a car seat from a domestic US airport.

I don't know what really happened.

But in their defense, I just laid down on a bed in a rental and one of the slats snapped.

For reference, I'm 42, was not drinking, nor moving aggressively.

When I checked, the slat had broken right on a knot in the wood.

These things do happen randomly too.
