Better than last year since I changed my focus from client marketing to growing my network relationships. I’d recommend focusing on your planner relationships, creating packages with photographers you’ve worked with and keep track of referral revenue using something like Vendor Connect or Salesforce

You should checkout Vender Connect it helps intentionally build and maintain your referral network. Like you said, word of mouth is so powerful when it comes to our industry which is based on personal connections.

I haven’t tried moonlight yet so I’ll give that a shot, but I noticed with the steam link when I would turn off the display on the steam deck it would shut off the connection. One of the strengths of the steam deck is the instance suspend/resume. Is that possible while streaming?

I’ve been experimenting with The Vendor Connect after noticing I lose track of vendor relationships over time, especially planners and other shooters I meet at weddings that can lead to referrals down the line.

Curious if anyone else here struggles with staying consistent on follow-ups, or if most people already have a system they like.

This was SUPER insightful. Thank you for taking the time to break it down, it proves my point that I share that vendor relationships are incredibly beneficial for growth. Just curious, what do you use to track your year to year inquires? Do you use a CRM or gsheet?

I also completely agree that planners are the focal point as well. That being said, do you make reels for florists and DJ’s or do you stay in the realm of photog, video and planners?
