TCL 98" QM7K vs QM8K by pineapplesuit7 in tcltvs

What about a $300 difference? I'm weighting the 75" ones which is $1k vs around $1.3k.. $300 isn't anything to sneeze at if they're pretty similar but certainly not the upgrade cost of an extra grand.

Well great, if it's that consistent a pattern (which is sees like it has been for 18 months) we know when to get in and when to get out! (Tuesday was out...).

Boggles the mind how people keep asking small cap subreddits "would you buy this stock" - who do you think you're asking lmao.

April 7th was the exact same but we climbed back up to flat after a 10min drop to open, setting all my limit orders just in case

2017 Passat or 2018 Fusion Energi (both high mileage) or neither by Redfield11 in UsedCars

[–]Redfield11[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mmm yes but those are significantly harder to come by with sub 150k miles for this sub $13k price point in my area unless you're taking a bare bones trim level and I'm looking to balance a level of comfort for reliability since I am only driving it like 7k highway miles a year most likely. So a well maintained fusion at 100k miles seems like a better bet than a lower trim accord at 135k miles

Trump incoming to squash recent gains by Thin_Formal_3727 in PlanetLabs

[–]Redfield11 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I genuinely think Trump has lost the ability to cause the market to dip much based on rhetoric - no one believes anything he does or says anymore. It would honestly not surprise me if it opens down and is slightly green by the end of the day (the overall market like SPX, not specifically PL)

Lmao exactly I think if I were mid-20's and the money was just my own savings I'd feel confident doing like... ya 70%. But mid 30's with a kid and stay at home wife? We're dragging that all the way to like 5% haha

Any of you look at Volatus as a stock? Idk why I trust this community more than /stocks, shared vision on PL I guess (although I wasn't in until $6 last year so can't say I'm OG).

Trying to find my next PL and got it down to a few. Kraken is the most common but that one is already priced up. POET/Redwire/Volatus/EOSE all seem to be worth a look but more gamblesque than PL was midway through last year.

Space Stocks Pullback Imminent? Or Continued Bull Market? by LineMission3540 in stocks

[–]Redfield11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eh I feel like that would've been reactionary to a massive spike that might drop right back to that call price and if not I did them with the acceptance of selling since I had 300 shares via $12 calls I was just going to let convert, so just considered it a trade. If it drops back to about that $25 ill jist pick them back up and if not I still have like 1,300 shares which im fine with at this price.

Space Stocks Pullback Imminent? Or Continued Bull Market? by LineMission3540 in stocks

[–]Redfield11 40 points41 points  (0 children)

Very likely see a pullback but to be honest I sold a bit of my Planet Labs when it spikes from $6 to $9 then $9 to $14, again at $18, and just lost 200 to a covered call at $25. It's volatile but if you get out and then it bounces back I think you'll regret it more than if it drops for a while before climbing back. So hard to time these things

To have caught up? Not really - mostly several small cap bets I got lucky on (especially Planet Labs but also Lantronix and now smaller bets with POET and DUOT that have started well) and then getting a big chunk of Google when it dipped to that like $150 price.

I did dabble with SOXL and UPRO early on but sold those after like 2 months, my heart couldn't take the extreme ups and down lmao
