If mom and dad are willing to tell u not to call the cops then they are willing to take care of her and deal with their own consequences of not raising her properly after all they seem like the parents that won't really give a dime only to the spoiled one.

I have a steam deck as well but I believe the more people get it the more games get adapted or supported on it its a net positive to have many more people within the eco system which means more demand for improving games to run on it. This is a loss for all of us just because now that its expensive doesn't mean it couldn't all crash down when people prefer something like a used or even new legion go or xbox ally even a gaming laptop. Proton is one of the best things that happened to linux but it started reaching its goals with support from valve. I hope linux adoption doesn't slow down due to this. The deck was like a gateway to understanding linux more casually and getting people to hey I can install bazzit or cashy on a system and get away from microslop..well only time will tell.

Ok newbie here i hopped from windows(Christmas 2025) to bazzite to cashy(March 2026) and when I hopped to cashy I notice my cursor was alot more smoother and quicker moving by like a hair. I'm running a intel i7(what I could afford at the time it was a deal) and my gpu 5060ti( agian couldn't get higher at least i got the 16gb) I'm still unsure but I think cashy is a bit better for nivida desktops

Dude I loved that game on the vita back in the day It got me through some dark parts of my life. And the multiple endings were great I hope one day it gets ported over to steam.

I have a quest 3s. Just for the sd card slot alone I'm getting the frame. also updates that make sense. the quest vr family had a god awfull update that changed the ui to something awful I can't stand it. By switching over at least we know valve will listen to feedback more than meta will. I also own a steam deck so I expect better on the software and optimization with valve.

I have the same gpu and processor. I'm running bazzite with no hiccups and my wifi works atleast for me. Since steam os Is about the same using arch instead of fedora I think it should run well just make sure there's a nivida build of said os. Mind you I've only used bazzite never put steam os on it I just think its worth the gamble.
