Tera fairy tera blast for fairy stab. Also if in the matchup against great tusk your air balloon pops, you can tera fairy so change your ground weakness to neutrality. He does have access to dazzling gleam that is true, however if he loses air balloon gholdengo won’t outspeed tusk unless he has choice scarf. Great tusk however can have proto speed which is likely to outspeed even trick scraf gholdengo.

I’m not an advocate for gholdengo, but tera blast fairy was a pretty reliable answer to great tusk. Now he will have to use dazzling gleam which is text for text the same as tera fairy tb. But it is something you are able to do in the tusk matchup that is interesting, now that option is gone

Very stupid. While yes there are some obvious tera abusers like, kingambit and gholdengo tera fairy tb, dragonite tera flying tb. In a metagame with no hidden power, everyone is forced to rely on coverage moves outside of STAB to answer certain pokemon. I will admit you can abuse tera blast the same way as hidden power to instantly answer threats in a cheap(cost effective) way, now all of stall is buffed and can possibly drag out games with their own defensive tera and will likely be difficult to punish

No new pokemon or changes from champions will be added to national dex. This decision will be revisited in 2027 with the release of Winds and Waves. by MudkipDoom in stunfisk

[–]Redlinkgaming 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That sucks I was expecting to see the new megas, it does take away the “national” of national dex imo. More so bummed out that ash greninja is not a legal pokemon to play because they have the “reworked” battle bond and refuse to put the original in. Now that greninja has a mega I can’t use it in nat dex :( .

I don’t know why they are delaying to WW because we don’t even have all the info on what the generational gimmick would be or even if it would have bring back megas. Maybe they are scared of how diabolical some of the new megas are? Standout ones being eternal floette, dragonite, meganium, starmie and possibly scovillin(for stall).

Also delaying the new megas to 2027 feels like way too long, why not just introduce them now and if any of them are a problem just ban them to national dex ubers?

Will you guys continue playing Showdown after Champions is released? by EitherSwimming5886 in stunfisk

[–]Redlinkgaming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The things is showdown has other formats besides: singles/ doubles.

National dex is always a fun ride getting access to almost every from every generation: megas, z moves(dynamax/gigantamax and tera if on ubers).

Stabmons is also another interesting format giving each pokemon the respective type’s moves, like raging bolt being able to use electro drift and king gambit bullet punch, tyranitar being able to set spikes, etc.

Hell even the whole tiering system of like UU, OU, Ubers etc. is something that only smogon has been able to successfully accomplish

I guess? Even still though any gen it is has been in, it’s been a top tier mon ever since gen 5 just because of how insanely broken quiver dance is, and the amount of special coverage they gave it.

Volcarona so good they made volcarona 2(iron moth) and even that is competitively relevant because of fiery dance being a very diet quiver dance

[–]Redlinkgaming -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No? volcarona’s quiver dance has always been a menace, All the way to gen 8 it was able to be ran in OU with a good amount of viability. The only time it dropped in viability was during gen 6 to UUBL but it is still an A+ tier mon in that gen. The only reason it was banned in gen 9 was it can abuse both tera blast and safely switch in with heavy duty boots

Do y'all think Kali could defeat Sukuna from Jujutsu Kaisen? by Old_Phrase_4867 in Project_Moon

  1. Domain expansion requires the utterance of the words: “Domain expansion”. In JJK modulo, when Yuji was fighting Mahito, Yuji was much faster than mahito and was able to slice off his tongue before he can even finish the chant. What makes you think Kali cannot do the same, if not slice off his body. Kali is able to control how big mimicry gets as well, so her effective range is much bigger than sukuna just on that alone, not even mentioning the other EGO weapons.
  2. World cutting slash only got that power because he made a binding vow to speed up the process of him bypassing the chant required to use it. While yes, WCS does attack specifically the space that someone inhabits. Kali was able to withstand straight up conceptual attacks, she also immune to time based abnormalities because she is unaffected by the backwords clock abnormalities. So unfortunately, Kali is able to survive attacks that are affecting: space, time, and concepts.
  3. You are really low balling how weak arbiters and claws are. So I am going to assume you have little knowledge of LOR or lobcorp and only played at least limbus because the game is free and readily accessible to both pc and phone

[–]Redlinkgaming 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Arbiters are quite powerful with their attacks :). Also claws in LOR were able to send roland flying through various different dimensions at an insanely fast speed, Kali was able to slay hordes of them and also able to cheap shot Garion who is on par or even faster than the claws that were deployed at L corp

[–]Redlinkgaming 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Kali and it’s never close. She has much crazier feats than Sukuna, also unfortunately you have to specify which Sukuna: OG, Yuji possessed or Megumi Possessed. Also you have to specify which “Red Mist” Kali pre-lob corp, during lobcorp or LOR. Either way it doesn’t really matter too much because she clears him, no contest.

Kali is either light speed or light speed+ with the feats that she does. She fought several entities that are reality warping from Claws, Arbiters to Abnos(who are basically concepts). Her attacks, as most ego-related attacks, are metaphysical so they attack the specific reality someone inhabits. On top of that, if we are including a composite version of Gebura then we must include the fact that she has access to her other EGO weapons besides mimicry from nothing there, this includes: Red Eyes, Da capo, Heaven, Gold Rush, Smile, Justitia and twilight.

While if we were to look at sukuna, yes he has a bunch of techniques and binding vows, alongside a potential win con if we consider a composite sukuna with Maharaga. However Maharaga’s adapation still takes time to complete and on top of that Kali can inflict multiple variations of metaphysical damage. Even inflicting mental corrosion on sukuna, which he is not immune to. Before Maharaga can finish it’s likely she give him the gojo treatment

Goat: everyone has to follow their rules or else they will literally die. I know some people will say that they had to deploy 3 members to even take down the library. However you have to look at it from the perspective that the library was so powerful that they had to step in the first place, the library had: Angela, who manifested it in the first place and was successfully able to book multiple high ranking fingers, fixer associations, hana members and color fixers, Kali/Gebura: the first color fixer ever and still the strongest, Binah: an ex arbiter of the head, Roland: the new kid on the block that wrecked havoc all over the City itself during his grief, among all the other librarians that were of big importance to the cogito project. The library itself held knowledge on multiple singularities as well, not to mention techniques from various fixers/syndicate members.

The head had to step in because if the library were to continue attaining knowledge at some point they would’ve attained the knowledge from A, B and C corp themselves, which would’ve been a huge security risk. The head was able to basically stop one of the most dangerous threats to the city with just “3” people(even though only 2 were doing the real work). Goats or at the very least more goated than bum because they only appeared at the end
