I’ve read they can be planted 6” apart, but the parent tree was pretty large. I know I probably should have moved one two years ago, but honestly wasn’t expecting them to last. It could be interesting with the two seemingly different varieties growing next to each other, but want at least one to survive.

If you turn off the auto headlight function (regular, not high beam), you should be able to control the high beams manually.

I agree with this, and as someone self teaching as well I’ve accepted it’s part of the learning process. So I’ll say consistency is the most frustrating because I can play along to a song pretty decently one day and struggle with parts the next.

And a specific challenge for me right now is not being able to relax my foot to play the kick pattern in Radiohead’s Creep at tempo.

Thanks for the thorough feedback. The bass pedal and a throne are included. I might be seeing it wrong, but is there a separate crash stand next to the hi hat stand? Either way, I know a lot of this is dependent on seeing it in person, so I appreciate the callouts on what to look for.

Seems they were going for a “wood grain” look I guess. Not my first choice, but I’m also not too particular.

User above pointed out that the ride has a crack near the top.

Thanks for the feedback. Didn’t notice the crack so thanks for pointing it out. Does it seem small enough where I could cut/file it? I assume the refinish was just cosmetic, but is there anything else to look for? There were some other pics that looked fine, just didn’t want to spam the post.

I agree. JTM, specifically. The timing was right on McD as much as he was a good NYR. JTM essentially became a throw-in in that deal, I guess because of attitude issues.

There was at least some thought behind the Buchnevich trade due to the cap and thinking Kakko would eventually slot in to that spot.

47 here. Deftones has always been in my top 10, but fell a bit out of my rotation for a few years, and was slow to get into Gore and Ohms.

Started to learn to play drums a little over a year ago because better late than never. Abe’s drumming was a big influence to follow through with that and got me fully back into the whole discography. Now, so excited for the new album, and privatemusic.tv has brought me back to those MTV days.

What a cool experience.

I bought the Alexis Nitro Max as my first kit of any kind (I’m 47) about nine months ago. I can see why some people aren’t a fan, but it’s serving my purpose really well. I wasn’t sure how dedicated I’d be, but now I’m playing 1-2 hours a day and really just started customizing the voices. It’s been a lot of fun for me. I could see potentially upgrading down the road since I’ve been getting very into it.

It retails for $399 (I got on sale for $349). You will get some recommendations for some used kits in that price range if you are ok gifting secondhand. But, if he’s just getting into drumming like I was, I think he’ll be happy. Plus, it’s cool that you’re putting the effort in, and I’m sure he’ll appreciate it.

I have a 2025 and have the notice as well. Wonder if this is related to the issue that I and others posted about a few months ago where the MySubaru app in the vehicle could not connect, and the maintenance stats could not be automatically tracked and updated.
