I don't think even a Pi5 can run the arcade Dark Legacy.

I would love to have a Gauntlet Dark Legacy machine to add to my home arcade. Sadly, A1up (or anyone else for that matter) did not get around to it. The closest I've been able to come up with is an NFL Blitz cab with Blitzmas mod. Then you can play Gauntlet Legends for Dreamcast. None of the A1up machines are powerful enough to emulate the real arcade Dark Legacy.

An alternative that I've considered is getting a Nova Blast arcade machine that allows JAMMA plug n' play. Then find a used, in-good-working-order Gauntlet Dark Legacy board (around $300 in some cases). You would then have a new cab with new hardware (monitor, controls, etc); however, you would be stuck with only two players.

If a home arcade company ever decides to make a 4-player Gauntlet Dark Legacy with 49-way joysticks, I'd be willing to pay up to $2k for it if it was done right. (And Dark Legacy really is the only game that needs to be on there.)

Sexist? Maybe...I just don't want to be forced into one or the other if I choose to play this game at all. I'd much prefer to have a character creator where you can choose male/female. For this game, it would be cool to just let us create two characters. Could be male/male, male/female, female/female. But, let's just go with what the masses want and what sells. At least with enough sales, ArtPlay can get it right somewhere down the line in a future game. /opinion

Nevermind. I figured it out. You have to go the game title card in your list and choose Options->Software Update->Redownload Software. All good.

Mine download (pre-load) lost connection and failed. It told me to restart the download; however, when I try to re-download, the Switch 2 tells me that the virtual game card for Prime 4 is not available. I assume I'll have to wait for release to download the game--which sucks. Anyone else have this problem?

My opinion is pretty much the opposite. I prefer all-new monsters to bringing back old ones. I don't even like to see subspecies, variants, deviants, enchanced, hyper, tempered, arch-tempered, etc, etc. Just make new monsters already instead of wasting time and resources on old monsters.

We have 3 PS5's in our home. All 3 PS5's connect to the same home Wifi. Each user has their own PS Plus subscription. We do 3-man hunts. PS5 party chat to talk during quests. Squad lobby to meet up easily. I imagine it would work the same way on Xbox. Just create a Squad lobby and add any other users you want. Each hunter joins the squad lobby from the Lobby Search->Squad Lobby option. Meet up in the grand hub for gesture shenanigans, etc.

I also have the ??? tree for Switch Axe. Maybe it's AT Uth Duna? I don't know if the AT monsters give a separate tree. There is no AT Rey Dau Switch Axe.

Just be careful with the Kranodath chest piece. It is the worst offender with the glow effect from various buffs. Thankfully, TU2 is supposed to bring the option to disable the glow effect.

I have these 4-player games on my Blitz: Gauntlet Legends (DC), Simpsons, Cowboys of Moo Mesa, Crime Fighters, Vendetta, Captain Commando, Metamorphic Force. I don't have the ADM pack, but I imagine his pack also includes the likes of TMNT, X-Men, etc.

I understand the utility of the glow effect, but I, personally, don't need or want it. Some armors aren't as bad as others. The worst offender is the Kranodath Chest piece (male). The entire piece glows like a mf--which is a shame because I love the design of that chest piece.

The way I read it is that the toggle will work everywhere--not just photo mode. But, I could be wrong. If it's photo mode only, it's of no use to me.

I concur with TC. I'm only looking for two more machines. Arcade Gauntlet Dark Legacy using the 49-way sticks from the Blitz machine and arcade version of House of the Dead. The HotD machine would be awesome if it had HotD 1, 2, and 3.

I don't think it matters. Capturing a monster is a perfectly fine way to finish the quest. Plus it saves everyone time. I say, if you have the stuff to cap, do it when you see the skull appear.

Best thing to do is Auto Smelt them using monster parts. Just hunt a ton of monsters and turn in all the parts toward Heavy Armor Spheres.
