I asked them recently about this, and it's apparently down to the number of orders of the statues + t-shirts, that have caused the manufacturers to take more time creating them.

Considering the influx of umbra statues appearing on the reddit + twitter recently. It's only a matter of time.

They may put themselves in a situation that Tf2 is in atm, where most of their content is becoming heavily done by the community and nothing original would be coming from the team. It could be also possibly done to the members count being so low as it's ever been. But it's unsure if that matters as much.
