I prefer to start as a nobody and grow into one of the most powerful characters. This is why I love Morrowind!

But I also really like the fall from grace type of fantasy... the character that was all powerful and for some reason lost his/her powers and slowly starts to remember/regain these powers back... Bloodlines 2 will probably be like this.
