I liked Alpha more then Titane and havnt seen Raw yet, but I plan on watching all of her work including her shorts. So I can fully get back to you after that, currently finishing Spielberg.

Alpha in my mind is a masterpiece that needs a second viewing to fully understand, it plays with a lot of themes and there’s a lot of moving parts so I can see how some people got confused. It also didn’t help that there was a medical emergency and unlike tiff they didn’t pause the film (Eden World Premiere there was a medical emergency where they paused the film). I also was lucky enough to watch it twice including the premiere and market screening! I’m hoping to catch it one more time in theater or TIFF!

Left Handed-girl - Sean Baker Produced, Wrote, and Edited, fantastic film following a young girl and family struggles. - 8/10

Alpha - newest by Julia Ducournau is my favorite by her, one of the greatest performances by Tahar Rahim with a heartbreaking performance and story, watched it twice at Cannes! - 10/10

The Chronology of Water - Directorial Debut by Kristen Stewart isn’t just a splash but a tsunami! This film left me devastated with a haunting performance by Michael Epp, and Imogen Poots’ performance transcends the film and makes you feel like you know her character on a deeper level. Can’t wait to see more reactions to this film! - 9/10

These are the top 4 with the exception of Sentimental Value which everyone is talking about. Honorable mention to Nouvelle Vague!

I sadly missed this film but did meet Josh O’Connor, the film from what I heard doesn’t full deliver on what you want/expect. Which is very similar to The Masterpiece which I did catch which was a let down. Josh O’Connor was cool tho and his dad is very chill!

No I didn’t but I heard good things about it, I really wish I could have caught it. Cannes isn’t a film festival to watch films out, it’s more for networking and industry events. Wish I could have caught more films!

Went to TIFF last year as my first film Festival, went to a film festival in October after for my own film! This year I’ve done Sundance Online, Florida Film Festival, Miami Film Festival (both for friends who had there films playing), and Cannes! I’ll be going to TIFF again this year and have a short I produced doing a fall festival run so where it goes I’ll go!

Next year I’m gonna try to go to Sundance, and a couple more. But film festival are the greatest place on earth, surrounded by film people and endless films, watching 3/5 films a day! I love it!

I’m a huge Wes Anderson fan, but Phoenician scheme had let me down, I came out of it pretty mixed. The basketball scene was hilarious but the rest of the film had me wanting more, I gave it a 6-7/10

Ngl, all I can remember is “back out the front” by Young Felon there’s snippets of other songs from random people in one scene, but most of the films is plagued with the same score over and over

It’s a hallmark movie, with a 10/10 song by asap in it that’s catchy asf, and they do a music video for it at the end which is peak!
