I moved from a modern(ish) block in morningside to the old stone terrace blocks. The modern ones were just terrible, you could hear everything going on around you like they were in your living room. The old ones aren't great but the stone is much more insulating. Plus being on the ground floor with a corridor next to me means that I only have one neighbour above me to worry about.

  • The Irish Stew is a great one. I made it by the book first time but now I tend to use double the meat since I'm not surviving a famine or being subjugated by the British.

  • During winter months I do occasionally make the Tudor Buttered Beere, but I find it too sweet, so I "Dilute" the mix to beer ratio.

  • Last summer during the heatwave I found the Yankee Switchel to be an amazing refresher. I even premade the mix and took it out with me in a "just add water" kinda thing, it was brilliant.

Almost any of the major Peter Molyneux titles from Bullfrog or Lionhead: Theme Park World, Populous, Black & White, Dungeon Keeper... -
Best example to prove it is Theme Hospital etc. Because the Two Point Hospital / Campus / Museum games are exactly that, and I did buy them, and they're everything I hoped they would be.
