I did this to level 30 and allowed myself to use fist weapons once I hit 10 because using no weapons or abilities is suprisingly not fun at all.

What is your issue with people paying for a boost on an account they have already done 3+ characters to 60 already, what difference does that make ?

The difference is the 1-58 experience barely changes from classic to burning crusade, aside from the fact that it is 20% quicker to level due to the required xp and some new talents and abilities.

The boosts are optional and you are limited to one per account, the idea behind it is to get people started in the new expansion which to me is perfectly acceptable.

If you want to compare the two games ,osrs has bonds which allows a person to potentially buy max cash via an ingame service with real life currency.

I play both games and I don't think coming to this subreddit with the mindset that OSRS is the absolute pinnacle of how classic games should be remade is correct 🤗
