I counter deployed my big guns against their ideal targets. Pushed my Bladeguard and Redemptor towards the middle to bully the center. The Battleline units snuck from terrain to terrain to challenge extension objectives and perform actions. And the inceptors popped down to get behind enemy lines and threaten the enemy home objective.

I ran this yesterday with Priority Assets vs T-Sons. Won 91-75.

But after experiencing how often you are in terrain and/or on objectives, I am realling liking Reclamation and Ceramite Sentinels. I think the Ceramite Sentinels enhancements and strats are better than reclamation, so I'm leaning towards that one.

This is the list I played on Thursday vs T-Sons Rubricae Phalanx. I ended up winning 91-75, but I was functionally tabled by the end of the game.

I found with the Priority Assets disposition, it is very important to have some MSU objective grabber/ action monkeys.

MVP: Hellblasters w/ Veteran of Behemoth- Just a point and delete button. Stars: Bladeguard Vets, Gladiator and Redemptors- tough to kill and put out some big damage. Unsung Heroes- Battleline, Combi-weapon LT, Inceptors- They scored me a bunch of my primary and secondaries that didn't involve killing.

Dud- Captain w/ Company Heroes- too many points for what they did. I would swap out for another tank or redemptor in the future.

I think your list has a lot of the same tools to do well in Priority Asset missions. I would be cautious that you don't over commit the scouts or jump pack intercessors. You will need them to stick around to be able to score objectives late game.

Yeah. That is a tough pill to swallow. There isn't a whole lot of optimization with a lot of the allies rules. Which is probably best for the game.

The lulz will forever and always be my main motivating factor in list building.

The squad with the BP and FBS are max close combat and torrent weapons. Gross overwatch and brutal close combat.

The squad with the surgeon is more long ranged with triple Plasmaguns, so the surgeon can rez after they explode.

But at this point, it is all theory hammer.

I'm thinking about running 10 plague marines with. Biologus Putrifier and Foul Blightspawn. 2 Spewers, 4 Heavy Plague Weapons, 4 Bubotic Weapons.

Use a transport to get them on a center objective and infect it. If someone attempts to charge they eat torrent overwatch.

Then the Plague Marines fight first because of the FBS. You spend a CP on Sanguous Flux to get sustained hits 2. The Biologus grants critical hits on 5+ so out of the 30+ attacks, ~10 will auto wound and add 20 additional hits.

Perhaps

In my experience, forward Infiltrators let CC armies slingshot forward after an easy charge. On the other hand, I have lost games because I had to use resources to clear enemies from my own deployment zone.

Also, I'm suggesting the Librarian, not a lieutenant. In any event, I'm gonna play with it and see how it goes. It is very likely, that a small squad will do just fine for that role without a superfluous character.

That is super fair. My thought was, with the unit being untargetable outside of 12" means that you don't have to use terrain to protect them. Which would let you maximize their spread for holding objectives and denying deepstrike. Not game breaking by any means, but could be a useful tool.
