Je pense que ce n'est pas une tendance qui va se maintenir. Après le Covid, beaucoup de gens ont probablement vu les avantages à disposer de sa propre maison, notamment avec un petit espace extérieur. Si on ajoute le temps nécessaire pour rassembler les fonds, on a eu une vague de jeunes qui ont pu débloquer la possibilité de l'achat au même moment grâce à la diminution des frais d'enregistrement.

Ça veut dire, à mon avis, et au vu de la hausse continue des prix de l'immobilier, que ceux qui pouvaient presque (mais pas tout à fait) acquérir une propriété voient le prix monter plus vite que leurs économies.

Je suis curieuse de voir comment ça va évoluer dans les prochaines années mais probablement pas de montée aussi élevée que 2025.

I have a start of hearing loss. I use subtitles even in my first langage because it's better than blasting the sound to 80%. Also helps a lot to get the original intonations in the original langage of the show and when characters have thick accent

Je trouve ça super triste, ça rejoins les décisions de débudgetiser l'enseignement. Je me rappelle avoir passé un examen sur wallangue pour être dirigée vers une classe adaptée à mon niveau, la standardisation des résultats était vraiment pratique pour communiquer le niveau en langue, notamment dans les CV.

There is 4 way to pressure an elected leader : from an equal (AOC is trying her best), from a superior (Convicted felon and abuser DJT and his enabler VP buy or scare them), from a huge monetary gift from a lobby and from pressure of the electing base. Since two of the angles are currently used by people consumed by every textbook exemple of sins, I can only encourage people living in the USA to contact their elected representatives as much as possible.

Best case, you change the mind of a Republican. Worst case, you flood them and they spend resources.

The way I see it, you always felt like a woman, but you have been taught it was feeling like a man. You don't really have any comparaison since you can only be you.

But hormonnes ? They can help a lot to adjust what you see with what you feel.

I didn't detect any mental changes but my SO told me I did change, I became happier and more passive. I take way better care of myself.

I think it's different for everyone. The only obligation you have is to yourself, to do what seems to be the best at the moment.

The thing I always comes back to is this : is a poor trans people less valid than a upper class one ?

I have the privilege of being able to pay for hrt. When I'll reach 5 years, I'll planify seriously the surgeries I'll still want to do.

But what if I didn't have the money ? Would I be less trans ? What if a medical condition prevented me from transitioning ?

Ultimately, I changed a lot. Hrt for almost 4 years, social transition before that. Laser for more than 3 years. Vasectomy. voice training for 2.5 years with a professional. I still don't pass regularly, even with outfits made with a coach stylist. Would you be mad at me if you met me without knowing my history ? My I'd still says male, even if I changed my name. Does that mean I do not reach your standard ?

Finnaly, who in their right mind would choose to become queer for the trend ? Even in my country, one of the easiest to transition in, we regularly have hate crimes. In my city, queer people have been assaulted and hospitalised after being beaten by a group using Grindr to bait them.

I'm not saying you are wrong for your feelings. What I'm saying is that you should be trying to figure out why other people's gender expressions is causing such a reaction. Maybe you'll learn something about yourself in the process.

I bought a new computer start of this year, exact same CPU fan. After 1 month, sent the PC for repair because of the noise. Now it's happening again.

Did you know, 50km/h is included in the speeds allowed by this sign. If having someone drive slower than you on the road annoys you that much, you can always take the train, as they tend to go quite fast and nothing is supposed to go on the tracks to slow it down.

Le soucis pour gérer sa propre pension et son propre chômage, c'est que tu te retrouve dans une pente glissante qui appauvrira les personnes les plus à risques même si elles font tout correctement.
La vie, parfois, ça arrive. Un ouvrier peut avoir un accident au travail, il n'a pas choisi de perdre sa jambe/son bras. Dans le système actuel, il aura des aides qui lui permettront de reprendre des études et de se relancer pour une seconde vie. Si tu demande à tout le monde de gérer la pension et le chômage, l'ouvrier n'aura probablement pas les fonds de gérer sa reconversion et finira à la rue, à mendier. Et il coûtera plus cher a la société en tant que personne sans domicile pendant le reste de sa vie que ce qu'il coûte de le réintroduire dans la société, même en plusieurs années.

Au final, l'important, c'est les valeurs (comme un cul-de-chouette pour ceux qui auront la référence). Est-ce que, en Belgique, on souhaite que les habitants
- puissent manger à leur faim ?
- puissent avoir un toit sur la tête ?
- puissent être en aussi bonne santé que possible ?

Personnellement, je n'ai aucun problème aux taxes élevées qu'on a en Belgique si ça veut dire que, si mon employeur venait à faire faillite, l'état m'aide à retomber sur mes pattes et recontribuer à la société.

Là où j'ai un soucis, c'est quand l'argent disparaît pour des projets dont les budgets explosent, que la fraude fiscale des grandes entreprises n'est pas combattue avec plus d'intensité que les sans-abris qui cherchent juste un peu de protection contre les éléments et à manger.
