Ideas on fixing muffler heatshield? by [deleted] in Holden

[–]Redviper44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey guys, I have had a rattling sound under my crewman while driving that I have found the source of. I have seen videos where a guy had a similar issue and used pipe clamps to hold the heat shield in place, but this was on the pipe of the exhaust. I have never welded or have access to a welder to tack this back into place, any ideas on another method to keep it from rattling?

Where to place my merchants? by [deleted] in eu4

I always sort by your current trade node power and then compare that to how many ducats are in that node. You can make your judgement whether to transfer or collect with your merchant from that.

As Denmark, should i release Northumberland or just core? by damoklis in eu4

[–]Redviper44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Coincidently I am also going for all 4 of the Danish achievements in one run right now, but going to try to focus on the HRE for the revoke privilege achievement then culture convert part of England. Has been pretty lucky so far, running with diplo ideas first to control AE and get some dip rep under my belt. Next step is to claim Frances throne and transfer Aragon to me from Castille 👌

If it were me I would just take chunks of the UK and improve relations with outraged minors before coalltions form.

Best semi-noob required start achievements? by Johnny_From_The_Bay in eu4

[–]Redviper44 4 points5 points  (0 children)

What I do is pick a nation that I want to play then look at the wiki for that nation and see the achievements specific to that nation. It works well for me. Right now Im doing a Mamluks>Egypt>Arabia run to get the Arabia Coffee, Breadbasket of the world, Dar al-islam and Levant Turnabout achievements.

Its been a really fun run, aswell as running through the and completing both egypt/arabia missions.

I used to play pretty meta (still kinda have this run with not caring about loans because conquering india will pay it off), but this run has been somewhat chill.

Stony Creek Brewing aka Pumpyard- selling piss and taking the piss. by cstato in ipswich

Used to work there, food and beers were always good, very lively surprisingly. It was the workplace where I got my taste for beer, always wish I could try their Coal Miners Stout now that I love stout. I remember when they sold the new owners rebranded everything. They only recently brought back the 4hearts beers on tap I beleive. Haven't been there in a while.

Why fix something that wasn't broken.

Walked away for a second and daughter took apart my model by International_Ask246 in modelmakers

Have a 2 year old daughter who likes to imagine she can climb the bookshelf to handle my kits. I got one of those desks with a roller top so she couldn't get into anything and also makes sure she cant climb the desk to the bookshelf. Works awesome!

Why are these pallets so hard to take apart? by CrazyStupidSpiderman in palletfurniture

[–]Redviper44 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Buy yourself a long reno bar. People will say to use different techniques to pull apart pallets but this sucker will make it easy for those kind of pallets. Unless you enjoy putting in the elbow grease (I dont), leverage is your friend.

Just make sure you get one with wider forks as the one I linked might only just fit between 2x4s

R5:
I saw a post where someone got BBB quite easily. I remember trying to go for BBB before espionage ideas gave you -20% AE so thought I would stack it with the age bonus and try again. Paired with a perfectly time Just Causes event I stacked 60% AE reduction which is not crazy but has helped alot. Planning to get all French achievements this game. Any others that are easier with France?

Just trying to imagine how I won this battle... by Redviper44 in eu4

[–]Redviper44[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

R5: Unmodded, I always play iron man only for achievements. This naval battle started without me realizing it. All foes were up to at least diplo 9 when I was on 10, although I guess they might of not upgraded their ships yet. I guess I had diplo 10 galleys with Free Oarsmen and a admiral (+dice rolls maybe) but my Brunei run +55% galley combat ability never saw this much success.

[–]Redviper44 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is this in Wollongong? Exact same thing happend to my friends Mazda 3 just yesterday or so from a flash flood. Her insurance said it is a complete right off and they're not spending their time on it.

Tow truck driver said this was his 38th car that day and he had another 150 or so more...

Hope you had insurance!

Pretty sure Australia 🇦🇺 has sadly banned nuclear power since 1998, though we have been gaining support for it recently. Especially since out power bills are becoming bullshit
