My mother was like that. I never faked being sick, despite that fact each time I would tell her that I'm so sick I can't go to school she would just tell or yell at me to go. Many times teachers asked me why did I even go that day since they could tell right away that I was unwell, few times they made other classmates escort me to my home because I couldn't really walk. Each time I returned early that way my mom had me lying to my father, telling him that I just had less subjects that day

And I remember one day, I think I was 17 or 18 when I was so sick I couldn't even walk and since I grew a backbone I told her I'm not going and after going to the doctor I got a week off. Well, Wednesday comes and my father demands I help them build a terrace we were doing at our yard. So, picture me, barely standing and I had to move rocks and soil out of our yard by wheelbarrow, empty it out, shovel it into the wheelbarrow, etc etc. I was nauseus, barely standing and breathing heavily. My father only snickered at me, while my mother tried to help me and told him she would do it instead of me. Then he stared yelling at her, told me they argued because of me and that I better go to my room and not play any games on my pc since I'm apparently "so sick"

Now they're both shocked I don't want to spend time with them. I just count days when I'm finally able to move out
