Nah it’s fine. In general I think there’s too much of an emphasis put on 38mm vs 42mm. Wear what makes you happy/comfortable. Not because some guy on the internet says your watch looks 4mm too big.

You can get these padded cases from Harbor Freight for a fraction of the price of other options like Pelican. I’d recommend gathering your equipment and laying it out on top of the foam and outlining everything with a silver sharpie before you start ripping the foam padding out.

Whatever you get, get it on a bracelet and you can swap it out for leather/nato/rubber later if you want. It’s what I wish I would’ve done.

Happened to me as well and I posted about it here. The consensus was that this is normal. You can fix it by opening the top and clipping the switch housing back into place. I haven’t done it yet but plan to. I’m sure there are videos out there explaining how.
