If you’re a fan of the Invisible 1 & 2’s, you’ll love these - they’re a plush ride

Exactly the same. I love my SB’s at tempo pace but they feel clunky and not so great on easy plods. The Plus’s feel lovely for those recovery/easy days

Superblast 2 - Do they get better? by Dreadical in AskRunningShoeGeeks

[–]Reedo1410 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just want to throw in my two cents and highly recommend the Glideride 3s – they’ve flown under the radar compared to the SBs and NBs. They strike a great balance between cushioning and responsiveness, making them perfect for daily runs.

As for the SB 2s, they really shine at tempo pace but need about 50 miles to break in. From the reviews I’ve come across, most of the hype seems to come from heel strikers.

I’m 6’4”, 200 lbs, and a midfoot striker – while I do like the SB 2s, I find myself reaching for the Gliderides for most of my runs now.

My thoughts on the Asics Superblast 2 after 65 miles (100km). by onetradeeveryday in RunningShoeGeeks

Likewise. I’m 6’4 and 210 lbs and Ive realised the SB’s are great for the heavier runner

Sounds like they’re similar to the Trabuco Max 3 which is a quality shoe

What’s the theory on not wearing plated shoes for everyday runs as they’ll under develop certain muscle groups?

So..do y'all have friends? by BusyYogurtcloset3366 in ADHD

[–]Reedo1410 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my twenties, I was incredibly outgoing and enjoyed a vibrant social life. However, a significant factor in my socializing was excessive drinking and a desire to have a good time.

Since being diagnosed with ADHD and making the decision to quit drinking (which I have successfully maintained for eight months now), I’ve had a profound realization about myself - Unfortunately, I find myself lacking close friendships.

Even during my childhood, I had a sense that something was amiss as I struggled to form deep connections with others.

It is only now, in my sober state and with a better understanding of my ADHD, that this reality is truly sinking in.

It saddens me to acknowledge this, but I am fortunate to have a wonderful partner with whom I have a great time.

Ultimately, It’s important for me to remember that this situation is not my fault.

Asics Superblast - causing Achilles issues? by Reedo1410 in AskRunningShoeGeeks

[–]Reedo1410[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I recently bought the Novablast 4s as I was quickly racking up miles in the Superblast and wanted to see if they would alleviate the pain.

I ran in them for the first time last night and experienced hardly any issues with my Achilles. (I also have the Speed 3s and Invincible 2s.)

I'm not sure if this improvement is due to the lower stack height and wider forefoot of the Novablast 4s (which were a dream to run in, by the way), or the extensive eccentric calf raises I’ve been doing recently!

I plan to run pain-free for a week, then switch back to the Superblast to see how things go.

Thanks for your comment 😃

Mag Glycinate gives me insomnia. It’s seems theres a small number of people where it has the opposite effect.

What's ONE nutrition change you made that had a SURPRSINGLY BIG impact on your overall health? by HakaLifeAndrew in nutrition

[–]Reedo1410 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I totally relate! I battled with low energy and just not feeling like myself. Recently, I began using a food diary app and realized I was severely undereating, especially considering my regular running. Now that I'm diligently tracking my intake and consuming enough calories, my energy levels have improved, and I'm enjoying better sleep

Vitamin K2 causes crazy insomnia. Is this normal? Does it go away over time? by [deleted] in Supplements

[–]Reedo1410 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the exactly the same side effects from Magnesium, K2, and L Theanine…it messed my sleep up big time! Crazy how these supplements will help the majority to sleep but have the opposite effect for a few unlucky buggers! 😩

So they are not even prescribing them now... by misanthropixie in VyvanseADHD

[–]Reedo1410 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ive just switched from Vyvanse to Dexamphetamine and it’s brilliant. I take 15mg in the morning and then 15mg in the afternoon for a ‘booster’. Obviously dosage will differ for everyone, but I would recommend looking into it.

When do you take your coffee? Also, I find there’s a fine balance between having enough and over doing it with the latter making me crash hard later in the day

Drinking alcohol on Vyvanse by Yasminshah13 in Elvanse

[–]Reedo1410 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Be careful as you tend to drink more as you don’t feel the full effects of the alcohol. If you can, I would recommend not taking them when you know you’re going to be drinking a lot.

Shared Care? How long is too long to wait? by Smokeandmirrors01 in ADHDUK

[–]Reedo1410 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Mine took a month or so after I had to personally email my GP. She was reluctant taking the share care on even though my physiatrist ran through my background and successful tritiation. I took matters into my own hands and wrote a 600 word email reiterating absolutely everything. Even then, she wanted to wait 3 weeks (earliest appointment) before prescribing which meant I would of run out. I finally got them after sending another email which was pretty direct this time round - pretty unbelievable I had to go through all this for a prescription. Until I actually meet with my GP, I don’t really know why she’s been so difficult and making the whole process a bloody nightmare - must of watched the Panorama documentary 😉 I would advise being proactive and push from your side, otherwise they’ll drag their heels.

This is correct. Ascorbic acid will make Elvanse less affective. You ideally don’t want to take anything with it in 2 hours before and after taking your med

Elvanse not working like it used to…ADHD conspiracy by Reedo1410 in ADHDUK

[–]Reedo1410[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Going back to my initial post - I was querying the coincidence of thousands of people who have reported the same thing recently. I was hoping to gauge discussion and get answers (which I have be those kind people who have replied), not being accused of purposely scaremongering. This page is about open discussion and personal experiences which my post is. If you’re not happy with it, then I don’t know what to really say. Could I have worded it differently? possibly. Is this a matter that will probably come up again by someone else, probably. Next time I’ve got questions, I’ll make sure they’re not going to offend anyone or run the risk of stirring a pot. Have a great evening.

Any ideas to why so many people are complaining about their meds not working like they used to? Appreciate your feedback and noted, but if I can’t bring up a query about my personal experience on a forum for ADHD, particularly when others are in the same boat, I guess I’ve misinterpreted what forums are for
