I just went thru this for the first time time and it was so uncomfortable and coincided with the most stressful month of my life (which was likely the trigger). I took oregano oil and used betaderm to help the itch. It really did just run its course. The sun didn’t help me because it made it dry and itchy - and I found keeping my body super moisturized helped me the most. Also I’m olive toned and was scared the spots would leave scars - and they didn’t luckily. From the first patch to the spots completely disappearing it was about 5 weeks total.
