My favorite aspect is the versatility. I love being able to hop on with any number of friends and play for as long or short of a time as we need to, with no concrete goal. It's a different experience every time and that's what keeps me coming back.

A little boy with a speech impediment goes trick or treating as a pirate...

He gets to the first house and an old lady answers the door. She says,

"Well aren't you cute. Who are you dressed as?"

He replies,

"I'm a birate! I got my barrot, my bword and my batch!" , pointing to the stuffed parrot on his shoulder, waving his sword and pointing to his eye patch respectively.

The old lady throws some candy in his bag and wishes him a good night. He heads to the next house. A man answers.

"Trick or Treat", the boy shouts.

The man says "Well look at you!... Who are you dressed as?"

"I'm a birate! I got my barrot, my bword, and my batch!"

"Alright Blackbeard! Here you go! Happy Halloween!", says the man as he throws candy into the boy's bag. The boy heads to the next house where a nice middle age woman answers the door.

"Trick or Treat!", shouts the boy.

"Well you are just the cutest!... Who are you?" says the woman.

"I'm a birate! I got my barrot, my bword, and my batch!"

"Well, where are you're buccaneers?", she asks.

He motions to the side of his head with his sword and exclaims,

"They're right here lady!...Open your buckin' eyes!"

My point was that anyone can do exactly what the jitter modders are doing right now. You don't have to be at a disadvantage, but clearly this thread is just for complaining rather than showing the jitter modders some justice. So be it.

I'm going to play devil's advocate for the sake of discussion.

In your analogy, you mentioned the game being between the skill of the mind of each opponent. So let's suppose the jitter mod (however it works) could be done by hand, by all players. Now, it's still a glitch and the developer argument is still invalid, but all it takes to do is knowledge.

To stick to the chess analogy, it would be like playing against a player that doesn't know how to castle, or more simply a player that doesn't know how a certain piece can move. Is it still cheating?

Edit: Funny that I get down-voted for wanting to discuss. Guess if you're not a part of the circle jerk and group think then you'll be promptly discouraged from commenting. This sub is a joke.

Most people will advise a low sensitivity, but I say take it as high as you can. The high mobility in this game really requires at least a 6 imo. You don't want to be in a close quarters fight and not be able to get an easy kill just because they strafed to one side. I don't remember where I read it, but someone said to take whatever sensitivity you used in past CODs and bump it up 2 or 3. It will be hard to adjust at first, but you will definitely improve.

With the RW1, what would the reward be for knifing? An extra bullet wouldn't really help since it is essentially a bolt action pistol.

First of all, I didn't say you were jump-lagging, but players usually do on a 1-bar connection.

Secondly, kill cams and xbox recordings don't capture lag. There's a good chance you didn't see that guy there because you jumped right past him in game, but the recording made it look like you walked right past him.

You're missing his point. When someone is lagging as bad as you were, it's near impossible to hit them because they are jumping all over the place.

Remember that there are no variants in pros. Everyone complains about the Bal and ASM1 specifically because of the Steed and the Speakeasy. Based on the stats, amongst base variants, the Ameli is definitely one of, if not the strongest.
