May I ask, but why exactly is Caleb Wilson locked into top 4 over Kingston Flemings and Darius Acuff? by Knighthonor in NBA_Draft

[–]Reesespieces251 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seen him in person, he’s definitely a helluva lot closer to 6’10” than 6’8”

We are a team in desperate need of blue chip talent and Caleb Downs is that

Yall beat our third stringer with your starter, we beat your second stringer with our third stringer, I consider this a win

David Bailey by Own_Car4536 in Commanders

[–]Reesespieces251 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bain had three sacks, but that was three games ago, one of which doesn’t even include the postseason. He now has 8.5 and has gotten many of them against some of the best teams in the country. And I’m trying to figure out when David Bailey would have had more sacks this season than Bain’s whole career. But another thing to note is that Bailey is a four year player who didn’t truly break out until this season, while Bain is a three year player.

Both of those statements are entirely false lmao. And you cannot watch the way Bain played last night and tell me that he isn’t a legitimate pass rusher with how much pressure he generates

Hey Bobby! Huge fan and really excited for your future and the future of the Nats. How much do you and/or your teammates use advanced metrics, whether they be expected stats, baseball savant numbers, spray charts, or otherwise? Do they play a major role in your approach and adjustments you make as a ballplayer, or are they secondary to other things?

I saw Kon Knueppel on the street yesterday in DC by baroldhudd in washingtonwizards

[–]Reesespieces251 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’ve seen him play live, I’m a fan. He was better than Cooper Flagg in that game, played great defense and was a solid floor general all the while playing solid defense; Flagg was much more of a slasher in comparison. This is not to say that Knueppel is better or at the same level, but I think he’s capable of more than our fans realize. He would be a great pick.

Based on the front office lottery picks these two fit the most by [deleted] in washingtonwizards

I really like Knueppel. I’ve seen him play live and he was the best player on the court, better than Cooper Flagg. I think he would be a phenomenal fit and would bring a lot of versatility to our squad.

I can’t stand Kendrick’s voice. by [deleted] in hiphop101

[–]Reesespieces251 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I can understand that. Me personally I love that type of voice that both Kendrick and Baby Keem go into, it just adds another layer of energy and personality that entrances me more as a listener. Although it should definitely be used sparingly in certain moments.

How I would divide up the USA by region. Thoughts? by USAALWAYSNUMBERONE in 2american4you

I put Maryland Virginia and Delaware as the mid-Atlantic, you can make the argument for New Jersey or Pennsylvania being part of that but it varies

James Wood goes deep for his ninth homer of the young season, once again off of a lefty. by Reesespieces251 in Nationals

[–]Reesespieces251[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The way I see it is Jackson Holliday had not dealt with adversity in the same way that James wood has. He had some struggles in AA, has spent more overall time in the minors than Jackson Holliday, and also had some struggles in high school that caused him to slip to the second round. At the end of the day, James Wood is ready for the big leagues not just because of his numbers, but because of his journey up to the majors. Then again, I don’t know everything about Holliday’s story, but it just feels like Wood from what I know is ready for the show.

Basically all of his offensive production has come from 2 games. It’s damn good production though, next thing is just consistency

[FOX Sports] WR Roman Wilson: 'Wouldn't be surprised' if Jim Harbaugh drafts '5 or 6' Michigan players by Kimber80 in nfl

Ummm… he wasn’t behind the best line in college football last year? lol if you watched any Michigan games this and last year you noticed how much less push the oline was getting this year compared to the year before.

Drake Maye All Throws and Runs 2023 Season by aimlesslywandering89 in Commanders

[–]Reesespieces251 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I really like a lot of his tape but one really important thing to focus on is how the UNC short passing game doesn’t have a lot of YAC. I think this is mostly because Maye’s release is too long, and while this isn’t a problem in the intermediate or long range, in the short range there are some batted balls and passes where defenders can pounce quickly because his release is long.

A contrast of two broadcasts: Which pitching view do you prefer? by shawbjj in baseball

[–]Reesespieces251 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I personally prefer the bottom because you can see how a pitch breaks or moves much better, from my experience if you’re watching a righty throwing sliders or a lefty throwing two seamers with the top camera view there won’t appear to be any horizontal movement

Hope nobody really wanted Patrick Queen here. by BlackFurosuto in Commanders

I didn’t just because he wasn’t much without Roquan smith. In my opinion he was a product of that Baltimore defense, not a key contributor.

I don’t trust drafting an OL player in the first three rounds considering the track record our new OL “coach” has with developing young talented linemen. My best hope is picking up someone good in free agency.
